"Yes, didn’t have photos of full repair, but this is it! He and his crew has to remove all floor decking, joust beams and redo them, along with sub floor. Painted and did the plumbing, repaired roof around fireplace as well!"

"I hired Sebastian for remodeling 3 bathrooms. He and his staff removed the existing tile, repaired walls/floor of all showers and installed new tile (including glass tile and 2â  x 4â  stone slabs). They completely rebuilt a wall of the primary shower. Sebastian worked closely with the plumber to coordinate the work that needed to be done. He and his staff are extremely easy to work with and ALWAYS accessible by phone if needed. He also went â  above & beyondâ  by driving into Austin several times to pick-up/return the products I chose. His Dad painted the primary bath and did an outstanding job in a short time. Sebastian and his crew will be the first ones I call for my next project involving tile/backsplash/etc.!"

"Once I sent her all the measurements, it took her a little while to get the options back to me.  Overall, they're good designs.  However, they're very simplistic and give general ideas for space planning.  I was hoping to have a better idea for sizes of furniture for the space and some variations on staging.
Jill was very responsive when I did have a question.  I'm not sure how helpful it is to have a virtual design done.  If we lived in similar cities, I'd probably use her again for help with additional designs.

Ceramic Tile questions, answered by experts

Glass, ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone are all excellent choices for tiling a shower floor. Some glazed finishes can be slippery when wet. Your tiling contractor can provide more information on which tiles will work best for your shower floor.

Granite countertops cost an average of $3,250 compared to $2,250 for tile countertops. Granite is also harder to DIY than tile, given its weight and bulk, which increases the overall labor cost of installation. Over time, both types of countertops may need sealing to remain resistant to water, heat, and other common kitchen elements.

Most professional shower tile installations take between six and eight hours, depending on the size and complexity. Most projects get completed in a single workday. DIY-ing the project takes around three to four days or roughly 16 hours. However, this will vary based on the skill level of the person completing the work.

Porcelain tiles can last 60 years or longer. With high-quality tiles and proper installation, your porcelain tiles may even outlive you, making them well worth the initial investment.

To help your porcelain tiles last longer, you should clean and maintain them regularly. You don’t need any harsh chemicals to get the job done. Rather, use a cloth, hot water, and mild detergent. And don’t forget to learn how to clean floor tile grout, as that’s just as important as tile maintenance.

Yes. You can tile over tile if the old tile is in good shape, but this will also create a thicker floor. As a result, you may have to remove and readjust baseboards and other room trimmings and potentially even raise door heights to work with the higher floors. In most projects, it’s best to remove the old tile before installing a new tile floor.
