"My roof was ruined 4 years ago from a hail storm and was way past needing replaced, Jeremy removed the old shingles and put new ones on by himself in 3 days, he cleaned up the mess and gave me a great price since I had no insurance and I am disabled and on a fixed income. He is a hard worker, finishes the job quickly and pays attention to detail, I was extremely happy with his work."

"These gentleman were of amazing service, they were very detail oriented any issues they could find it was like boom letting us know and telling us what should be done. I had a job done at my previous home where another guy did the work and he did things without having our approval. Freddy and his dad will be back to do more work for my home. My husband was so pleased as well they don?t rip people off by sub contracting they and they?re crew are good hands on"

Masonry questions, answered by experts

You should use cement for a chimney crown. The purpose of the chimney crown is to protect the mortar below from water damage and the effects of weather. For this reason, chimney crowns should only be made using cement. When repairing a crown, use caulks and sealants designed for cement repair rather than mortar repair.

Yes, limewash on brick can accumulate dust over time. Its porous nature can attract dust particles, especially in environments with high levels of dust or dirt. Additionally, if the limewash surface is left unsealed, it may be more prone to collecting dust. Additionally, incorrectly applied limewash will generate dust. Causes include applying it too thickly instead of thin layers and not allowing enough drying time between layers. Regular maintenance, such as gentle cleaning or dusting, can help mitigate dusty issues.

Yes, masonry is more expensive than concrete because the labor is much more involved. With masonry, your expert will build your project from the ground up, one piece at a time, ensuring they use the proper amount of mortar or grout during construction and keeping the project level or plumb. Pouring concrete can also be labor-intensive, but it’s a bit less involved. It requires building a mold, pouring the concrete, and letting it cure. The less intensive labor makes concrete a more affordable option in most cases.

Yes, brick should be clean before staining to ensure the best results. Dirt, dust, mold, mildew, and other substances on the brick can prevent the stain from properly adhering to it. Thoroughly cleaning the brick allows the stain to penetrate and bond to the surface more effectively. Cleaning typically involves using a pressure washer or a stiff brush with mild detergent. However, stubborn residue may require a specialized masonry cleaner.

Costs depend on material type, labor, chimney requirements, and structural reinforcements.
