"Prestige Fence & Deck is a great company, Jon and his crew did an excellent job replacing my old wooden fence, I was so impressed with their workmanship that I had them rebuild my Patio deck and gazebo, they did a fantastic job on both and added beauty to my back yard, plus the price was super reasonable. Customers say: True professional

"Alex and his crew were top notch. They did excellent work. Alex was very professional and took great care in making sure that the fence was constructed to our specifications. I recommended his services to several neighbors. If you need a fence, I think it would be impossible for you to find a better company. Thanks Alex. We really appreciate it."

"Worked with Alan at Northwest Fence and Iron.  We were fixing our upper outside balcony and needed to remove the wrought iron fencing. It was in desperate need of repainting or replacing.  Alan worked with us on choosing the best route of either repainting or replacing.  Since we needed to have it removed anyway, it was cheaper to have a new one installed.
They were very professional and worked with us on the timing for installation since we were working with several contractors.
We would definitely recommend them and would work with them again.

Customers say: Quality work

"These guys did an outstanding job! During the estimate, Mason provided us with different options based on materials and price. Even during the project, the crew cleared an area in our backyard that was not part of the project. Mason asked us first if we would like that done and did not charge us extra for doing so. The quality of workmanship is amazing!"

Customers say: Quick response

"K2 Fence & Stain built a beautiful fence on my rental property using metal posts and all screws instead of nails, so I don’t have to worry about it for years. As a landlord, that peace of mind is worth everything. The crew was professional, quick, and the finished fence looks fantastic — strong, straight, and built to last. I also quoted several other companies, and K2’s bid was the most competitive."

Fencing questions, answered by experts

Yes, you can expect your composite fencing to fade quickly during the first six months. This happens naturally because the wood oils in the fencing material, called tannins, bleed out. Because of this, it can help to get a color chart from your fence company, which should show you the color of your fence before and after it fades.

In most cases, wrought iron fencing will cause your property value to increase. Most types of fence—but especially high-quality wrought iron fences—make your home more secure and deter burglars, which adds to property value. Fences can also help keep children and pets safe, which most homebuyers will appreciate. Wrought iron fences are also highly decorative, and while they don’t provide much privacy, they do add to your home’s curb appeal, which often leads to higher home value.

The bottom strand should sit between 12 to 15 inches from the ground. If you have a problem with small critters, you can aim for 8 inches. Three-strand fences should be 16 to 19 inches apart, four-strand fences should be 10 to 12 inches apart, and five-strand fences should be 8 and 10 inches apart.

Yes, fence posts need to be installed below the frost line to ensure stability and prevent heaving caused by freezing and thawing cycles. The frost line is the depth at which soil freezes during winter. By placing posts below this line, often around 3 to 4 feet deep or as recommended for your specific region, you reduce the risk of the ground shifting, which can lead to leaning or unstable fences. Adequate depth provides better anchoring and helps maintain the fence's integrity, ensuring it remains secure and upright throughout changing seasons.

Customization options include coatings, privacy slats, and incorporating colors or ornamental elements to enhance aesthetic appeal.
