They were thorough and looked for options before having to cut a whole in the roof of our formal dining room. They quickly diagnosed the problem and replaced the part that was causing the leak. It is an odd size one, but Rod worked hard to find an exact replacement (he did). Also at the same time, a city water line was run down our street so we asked him about the cost to have the line run to the house etc. He gave a reasonable price so we went with it. Rod did a great job. He's professional, friendly, and honest. He checked everything completely and we will always got to this company first. We purchased our house in November of 2010 and we've had tons of plumbing problems. We didn't know when we bought the house that apparently everyone on the block has plumbing issues. One of my neighbors, who's also a co-worker of mine, had just recently paid $3,500 to have his plumbing fixed. When he told me how much he paid, I was mortified that we'd have to spend that kind of money to have our pipes fixed. The sink in our front bathroom leaked and we'd tried everything. We'd had friends and family try and help us fix the problem. We'd snaked the pipes multiple times trying to figure out what was wrong and had no luck. We thought we were doomed and going to be forced to shell out a ton of money to get the problem fixed. I'm the purchasing agent at my company and J's Plumbing is who we use and so I thought I would try them first even though I was initially apprehensive that they might be expensive for a house call. They not only were very reasonable in price, but they arrived quickly, were friendly, and did a great job. It turned out to be a just a clog, but it was a very difficult one to remove. I felt so bad because it took the plumber about half and hour w/ an electric snake to finally get the pipe unstopped. We knew that our sink really needed to be replaced, too, but were worried about the cost. They replaced both the sink and the faucet and made sure to clean up any mess and charged us very little for all that they did. It was a great overall experience and I would definitely recommend them in the future."},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/tx/sherman/j%27s-plumbing-reviews-7470938.htm"},"position":9}]}

"Worst experience of dealing with a contractor. I started to build a pole barn myself several months back and realized I wasn't good at it and I needed to hire an professional, details of the job were simple fix my errors and install the metal. The so called professional I hired is /was Morgan (Owner) with MLB buildings. Morgan was one of 3 contractors that provided a bid. The projected timeframe that was given was 3 days and the payment structure was broken in to 3 payments. Within the 1st week he had already received 1st and 2nd payments with one wall of metal up and supposedly framing fixed. Going into two weeks he is having issues and just installing metal without the roof trusses being fixed as we discussed. Metal had to be removed, metal not cut correctly all costing me money. I really didn't get upset until he asked if he could leave for a week to go make extra money because he is now in the negative after being on my job 2 weeks. Reluctantly, I felt sorry for the guy , but asked a date of his return. Now that he has been paid almost all the money he has pushed me off another two weeks and now not answering my calls. The metal install was not the best and yet I was still willing to work with the guy. I will post pictures soon of 20 ft walls of metal installed with screws on top and bottom and none in the middle, garage door wood caps just thrown up not secure, gaps at corners, around windows, or anywhere there is a cut has a gap of 1" or bigger, some panels not straight. All the way around not only a bad job, but didn't even complete the bad job. The guys that were working with him would quit due to not getting paid. My question is if he is not paying his guys that worked at my job where did the money go that I paid him? Also, as a side note all materials were purchased by me and he was getting paid thousands of dollars for labor only on a 3 day job that is now a month into it with be being left with a big mess to fix. Feel free to reach out to me with any doubt and I will be more than happy to invite you to my home for you to see yourself. Location: Pickton, TX"

The average cost to install a new water heater is around $1,300, but you can expect to pay between $875 and $1,750, depending on the kind of water heater, the size of the unit, and the professional chosen to complete the work. Tankless water heaters can push your price higher, as installation is more complicated, with prices as high as $3,500. The location and accessibility of your water heater will play a role in the project cost, as those sitting in tight spaces like a crawl space will drive up your labor costs.
