I had asked for an "after 2:00 PM" installation for the day of the install. Around 5:00 PM or so I got a courtesy call to let me know the plumber was on the way. He arrived within about 15 minutes. I presented him with the faucet and he went to work. I needed some of the piping and the valve replaced due to the corrosive water here in the Rio Grande Valley. It was all covered by the $125 price that I was quoted on the phone and there were no unexpected surprises. The work took around an hour and the install was professionally done. He did an excellent clean-up job when he finished.
If I have any other plumbing work, you can bet that I will be calling The Master's Plumber!

My back yard was a complete blank canvas, but that meant they had to level the entire area (which was not level) and remove a lot of rocks and weeds. The sod they put in my back yard grows really well, and is much better quality than the sod that was put in when the house was built. The sprinkler system works great, and it was wonderful that I could work with YardArt to get the extra water meter, which is saving me at least 20% on my water bill, if not more. I've called up Tony several times asking questions over the past few years and he has been very helpful. YardArt comes back every Spring and Fall to fertilize my lawn, and they keep track of when it needs to be done, calling me up and asking if I want them to come out. They aren't the cheapest landscapers in town, but in this case, you get what you pay for. I was very satisfied, and my two dogs love their back yard.

It went very well.. They were called out to come fix an electrical problem and that morning we had a water leak and asked to look at it and they did and also fixed it at a last minute notice. Great Job!
Didn't end up installing a new water heater because the house will go up for sale BUT if I were to have proceeded I would have chosen Burl's Plumbing for the job after receiving three other quotes. Should the old water heater quit working before the house is sold I would call Burl's. Mr....

No pressure sales. The employee drew a rough sketch of the perimeter of our home and inspected the foundation. He advised where to provide additional moisture, and suggested a simple solution on how to provide the correct amount of water to the foundation.
Communication with the front office went well. I first spoke to them by phone and then used email. They pointed out that there was a flat price for the installation ($550) and that for an additional charge ($185) they could pick up the water heater from a recommended supplier, which I chose...

The license requirements for water softener installation depend on your location. Some municipalities require that the installer hold a plumbing license, some require a permit and an inspection, but no license for the installer, and some require a permit and a license for the installer. Regardless of the local laws in your area, it’s always a good idea to hire a licensed plumber or installer. These pros will install your system properly and have the experience to size the system appropriately. Use Angi’s state licensing tool to check your installer’s license status.
Water softeners are worth the money if you live in an area with hard water. Hard water is safe to drink, but it poses serious threats to your plumbing system. The minerals in hard water will gradually build up on the inside walls of your pipes, reducing water flow to your fixtures. The minerals can also gradually corrode your plumbing system, reduce its lifespan, and increase the risk of leaks. Hard water also makes soap and detergent less effective. Water softener systems can solve all these issues, making them a great investment.
It’s possible to install a water softener yourself, but we don’t recommend it. Water softeners require working with copper pipes and electrical wiring, neither are suitable tasks for most DIYers. Plus, working with water and electricity together is dangerous and could pose a risk to your safety. Water softeners also need to be calibrated so that they don’t make your water too soft, as soft water poses just as many risks as hard water. Overall, it’s well worth hiring a local water softener installer to place your water softener system.
The cost to install a water softener system is $1,500 on average, ranging between $200 and $6,000. The labor for water softener work typically costs between $150 and $1,000, so you can add that to your equipment costs to get an accurate total. Your price will depend on many factors, including the following:
System capacity
Home size
Water hardness levels
Type of water softener
Presence of electricity in the installation area
Local permit costs
Your water softener size is based on your total household water consumption. In most cases, you can assume the average household member will use around 75 gallons per day. Multiply that by the number of people in your home, then multiply by 10 (for the typical grains per gallon). You’ll get a number in grains that should help roughly size your water softener. However, it’s best to hire a professional to install your system and use more exact numbers, like your exact average water consumption per day and starting water hardness.
