"Adrian Villegas was our technician. He was there to check for plumbing issues and turn off and bring the gas back on after the actual lift. He even suggested and disconnected a gas lamp line that was off but not disconnected to stop the chance of a future gas leak. When he went to restart the hot water heater, the actuator switch had frozen so he quickly went and got a new one so we could get our hot water back on. We were pleased with his helpful attitude and attention to detail.

"I had a great experience with the team who first came out and identified the reason I had no hot water to the replacement of the water softener which was the problem. I decided to replace the water heater as well because of its age."

"Their contract plumbing installer created a disastrous situation which resulted in a full scale response by their in-house employees; who fully rectified the problem. The company president visited during the correcting process to be sure all was well and that we were completely satisfied. Our ongoing relationship -service and supplies- has been amiable and professional. We fully recommend Sweetwater Home Services."

"We received two estimates. Eloy Medina was recommended by the engineer we asked to come out to see if there was a foundation issue which needed to be repaired. It did not but he recommended Eloy and said to have it accessed from above rather than digging under the house as it was a few inches below the concrete. Eloy's estimate was the best of the two and we choose him since he was recommended by someone we know. The only negative thing I can say is that Eloy doesn't always show up. I had actually scheduled him to come out several months before and he never called to cancel and he didn't show up. We have another sink in the bathroom and the cold water was shut off so the leak was not active. I didn't make an issue of it since he did show up as scheduled when I tried him again several months later. As far as the work goes, he and his worker were knowledgeable and provided the service requested. We also hired him to reinstall the cabinet floors which had to be taken out to put in new plumbing and reinstall the carpet. They taped off the area as best they could to prevent dust from getting into the bedroom. Unfortunately part of the ceiling was pulled off when they removed the masking tape which was holding the plastic up. The drywall was repaired by someone who Eloy knows. The cost was $140 to refloat and paint the ceiling area. Eloy asked and we agreed to pay half ($70). Overall I would use him again because they are good at what they do but Eloy if you're reading this, it would be a good idea to call if you can't keep an appointment. It will make your service A+!"

"Our 6 month old roof started to leak after a rain storm. I called Maddox on a Saturday and he came out within hours to evaluate the issue. He determined the roof was not installed correctly and was in need of repair in a few areas. I decided to remove all to the decking and replace the bad sheets and reshingle. The roof was done in about a week from the initial phone call."

Sink Installation questions, answered by experts

The best place for a kitchen sink drain is the middle of the sink. Most people prefer center drains because they allow for better water and waste drainage, and the center location limits splashing because water flows straight down the drain hole. If the sink drain is too close to the edge of the sink, water can collect and drain too slowly. It can also be easier to clean sinks when the drain is closer to the center since debris is easier to wash down and doesn’t collect along the sides as easily.

No, they have multiple designs. Choosing a bathroom fixture will depend in large part on the current configuration you have. You will want to pick a model that matches the faucet holes currently in your sink, countertop, or wall. If you want to make a complete changeover, you may need to buy and install a new vanity and sink at the same time you purchase your faucet.

Most of the time, you can replace a kitchen sink without replacing the entire counter. However, if you’re replacing a large sink with a smaller sink, you’ll have to fully replace the counter because you’ll have a gap in the sink space area. But if your new sink is bigger than your old sink, your pro can simply cut into your counter to open up space for it.

There are few things more annoying than trying to fall asleep only to be woken up by the sound of a dripping faucet. If the faucet drips when the water is off, it probably has a loose or damaged seat washer. The screw gets loose from repeated use, making the faucet drip. With outdoor faucets, this is more common in the summer when people are using it more often to water the garden or cool off. Disassembling the faucet and tightening or replacing the seat washer and screw can get the dripping to stop.

No, you don’t need to use plumber’s putty to install a sink drain. Other options are available, such as silicone putty or silicone caulk. Plumber’s putty is the traditional method and it’s easier to work with and easier to remove. It doesn’t need to dry before using. Silicone putty should dry before you use the drain.
