"Tech was able to tell me what the error code meant but did not want me to order part until testing with volt meter. Diag appointment with volt meter did not cost extra. Tech gave me part numbers and it fixed the problem."

"While doing laundry that morning, I noticed that my kitchen sink was filling with water. Then I found water on the floor of my laundry room. Aaron from Jay Young Plumbing was able to fit us in within the hour; he was very courteous and knowledgeable. It is difficult to find plumbers that will work in mobile homes. From my first phone call to Aaron leaving my home took less than two hours. I was very pleased with his performance and he cleaned up after himself very nicely."

"The workers were very professional, and did the job in about 1 1/2 days. The only thing I don't think I got the "water shield" doors on my shower like I thought. Maybe something should have been sprayed on them but they do have water spots. I have expressed this to the rep and she was checking it out. Other than that I am very pleased and would recommend them."

Percolation Tests questions, answered by experts

Asbestos can be found in many building materials, especially if the materials were installed more than 20 years ago. Asbestos-containing materials (ACM) can include:

  • Acoustic ceiling tiles

  • Furnace insulation

  • Home appliances

  • Fire-retardant clothing

  • Cement pipe

  • Pipe insulation

  • Wall and ceiling insulation

  • Vehicle brake pads

  • Vinyl flooring

  • Sprayed acoustic ceilings

  • Stove insulation

  • Patching compounds

  • Textured paints

  • Roofing shingles

  • Siding

Testing and analysis take 10 days to 2 weeks. Expedited services are available for urgent situations typically requiring higher fees.

Regulations require certified professionals for removals and disposal in compliance with local and federal guidelines, ensuring safety and legality.

Unfortunately, home inspections do not check for asbestos because of the liability factor involved. That’s why you should hire a trained professional with specialized equipment to test for it.

They will inspect all areas of the home and take samples of various materials to test. Opting for an asbestos inspection can prevent the risk of exposure to this hazardous material and save on costly repairs that may be required.

No, but it’s common that they do. Gravity furnaces weren’t terribly efficient so wrapping either the ductwork in asbestos, the furnace itself, or both, was something done regularly. This allowed the system to retain more heat. At the time, this greatly enhanced the efficiency of the furnaces but it wasn’t until later that we became aware of just how carcinogenic and dangerous asbestos could be.
