"I called SETCON to come out & replace/paint an interior door; they also fixed my garage door hardware, my kitchen cabinet so it sits flush, & replaced my light kit in my ceiling fan. I found their prices to be very reasonable! They look/act professional, ethical, respectable, clean, & very cute! They drive professional nice vehicles & look/act totally trustworthy. This is the first handyman service in my 40 years of adulthood that I would strongly recommend & be loyal to. Holiday Decorating questions, answered by experts

If you take home a pre-lit Christmas tree but want to spruce it up with blinking lights, don’t worry, there’s a simple solution. You can easily replace the light bulbs on the pre-lit tree with flashing bulbs. For a more subtle look, only replace some of the bulbs with flashing bulbs.

It's safe to hang Christmas lights from gutters with a few considerations. First, when installing the lights, follow safe ladder-use guidelines and avoid getting onto the roof. Second, for best results and the integrity of your lights, use clips to keep the bulbs away from inside the gutters where they could run into trouble with water or ice.

To hang Christmas lights on a ceiling without using nails or traditional hooks, you have several damage-free options. Adhesive hooks and clips are a popular choice. For smaller projects, you can use pushpins, tacks, or adhesive putty. Specially designed transparent tape that can hold weight without damaging paint is also effective. For a more creative approach, consider stringing the lights over a curtain rod near the ceiling. If you have a drop ceiling, look for clips and hooks designed to attach to the metal framing. Note that staples can also be used, but may leave small holes.

Yes, if your roof is in stable condition, you should be able to hang Christmas lights from the eaves. Hang Christmas light directly from the eaves for best results, using light clips or an alternative type of adhesive. When installing lights on your eaves, be sure to work carefully and avoid adding too much weight or pressure to them.

To hang Christmas lights outside without nails, consider using alternatives like adhesive hooks, gutter clips, or even hot glue. These options allow you to secure lights to various surfaces without causing damage to your roof or siding. Be sure to clean and prepare the surface before applying these alternatives for better adhesion.
