Diamond Decks has over 20 years combined experience in the design and construction residential industry. We inspire to satisfy thousands of Texas homeowners with creative ideas and designs. Our goal is to surround ourselves with the most creative team of honest, positive, and skilled carpenters and tradesmen in the industry. We stand by our quality craftsmanship. Our custom work and attention to detail allows us to create unique solutions for our customers. “Positive things happen to positive people.”
"Think twice before hiring this company. This review is based on how we were treated by the owner Donnie Ferguson. We hired Diamond Decks to install a patio cover in our backyard. The cover is beautiful. The material matches the house and the craftmanship of the fireplace, roof and woodwork are exactly what we wanted. Here’s where it all went wrong. The last job was to stain the concrete both existing and the new walkway we had them install. The crew did not power wash the 10-year-old concrete before staining. We contacted the project manager right away and asked why they were not power washing and he said the crew didn’t think it needed power washed. Ten years of dirt and they didn’t think it needed power washed? Prior to staining, the crew put samples of the color on the concrete and asked for approval of the color. They didn’t wait for the stain to dry but had us sign off on the color while it was wet. The certificate we signed says “Do not sign this certificate until all services have been satisfactorily performed and material supplied or goods received and found satisfactory.” Despite this warning they had us sign the certificate prior to the stain and seal being applied. Let me also point out that no one asked us what we wanted the stain to look like or guided us in any way to get the look we wanted. The stain looked nothing like we wanted so they came back and applied another color and seal and made it worse. We reached out to Donnie and let him know we were not happy with the stain. His resolution was to charge us another $10,000 to do an overlay on the two patios and then apply another stain. Donnie believed it was the old concrete that was the problem and thought we needed an overlay. We received quotes from two other companies to fix the stain. Neither company thought we needed an overlay. Instead they would remove the seal and stain and reapply the color we wanted. We again reached out to Donnie and respectfully asked for a reduction in our final payment of $7500 to fix the concrete stain. This was his reply: Absolutely not. We are experts and what we do and the color selection you picked does not need multiple coats. I do not care who you are getting your false information from. And you cannot remove foot print and terrible texture work that is in the concrete work we did not pour. The imperfections would be difficult for anyone to see because they are enhanced once the color and sealer are applied. This has one of the best sealer you can use and this is specifically why the form says DO NOT SIGN THIS FORM Unless you approve the color. It’s not an easy product to strip off hence the reason it last much longer and that’s why we use it. The balance owed is now past due $41628. I will need payment in full by the end of day or I will need to notify the attorneys that the contract breach is made. You’ve signed all the paperwork we asked of you and now you wanna insult us by telling us you want us to refund money cause you don’t like what you selected. This is the owner of the company, threatening, insulting and hostile. We of course were not in breach of contract and he knew it. They had just completed the work seven days ago. Again, think twice about hiring this company. They showed a total lack of concern about our dissatisfaction and blaming us for the results of the concrete stain. I will say that Casey, the project manager, was always professional and showed empathy for our concerns."

Full service interior design firm, specializing in reupholstery and restoration of furnishings.
Our company started out in the home building industry. Realizing the lack of good contractors, we understood there was a great opportunity as a company to make the move to a specific trade. Granite and Quartz happened to be something that we really enjoyed and it felt like the "icing on the cake" in a remodel. After the transition our company has grown every year. Granite Brothers has a bunch of great builders, remodelers, designers, realtors, residual clients continuing to use our services. Our Clients are seen as people looking for a professional to give them guidance. Whether it's commercial job, an investment property or a forever home we try to make sure to give the client exactly what they need as far as budget, color and product. Granite Brothers strives at having the best trained staff and tradesman around. We stay away from having random sub-contractors so we know the quality of our work stays at our high standard. We look forward to working with you here at Granite Brothers!
"BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY! They like to bully, intimidate, and retaliate against a customer that brings up concerns on work that is being done at your house. They will greet you with smiles laugh and joke, but once they hook you with the deposit, you are in for an adventure of your lifetime. This company has threatened to sue me if I posted a bad review. They also stated they have my wife on video being a racist to his employees. Please read BBB review, Angie list reviews and do your own research. Do not let the 250 five star reviews fool you. The reveiws fooled me and I was treated in a manner that has lead me to submit a complaint to the Texas Civil Rights attorneys and American Disability Attorneys. Veterans, Women, and Minorites, please read below. Donald (Donny) Leach stated: “The problem is that you and your wife do not talk” “ Your wife has been the problem since Day 1” “ You have lost your privileges to talk to me” What does that mean? “ You people are disgusting” What does that mean? “ You people are pathetic “ What does that mean? “ You people need mental help, you people are sick from the head” What does that mean? Donny, please tell the readers who “ YOU PEOPLE” are? Is it the mental health people? Is it the Veterans and Disabled Veterans? Is it the minority people? Or is it the women? As a Disabled Veteran, I take offense to those comments due to my disability. These words are covert racism and of course the owner Donald Leach was going to accuse my wife of being racist and being hostile in OUR home. My wife was addressing some concerns we had about the cabinet install. Those concerns were not being addressed and the Cabinet installer Ty was not allowing my wife to speak about the concerns. When this happend, my wife got frustrated, my wife raised her voice and yes, my wife did say “That wall looks f***** up” since that seemed to get Mr. Ty attention and quickly get Donny on the phone. My wife is a retired combat veteran, the voices will increase in volume, the tone will change, and the situation will get awkward. Yes, the military voice came out. Understanding why my wife was so upset about the installation was because she was not being heard and was never allowed to speak. Donald Leach was not allowing my wife’s voice to be heard in OUR own home. You calling me and verbally abusing my wife while I am on the phone in conference is very hostile on your part. You made sure to call me back and tell me you would sue me if I posted a bad review of your company. Intimidation, bullying and belittling is a hostile phone call that you did on your part. Discrimination covers protected bases such as Disability, race, color s** (gender identity). As a Disabled Veteran In America, my wife and I face backlash from people who do not believe that mental health is a disability. This is why people call us names such as pathetic, disgusting, we need help, we are crazy, we are coming unhinged. These words have been used by people who are not educated with mental health disability. I suffered a TBI in December 2005 while patrolling in Iraq, my wife serves as my care giver to better understand information that someone else is providing. My wife is asking questions so I can better understand the information and the process. This is my disability, and I will have to live with this all my life. PTSD is also a disability Donny, you have discredited mental health, you have harassed my wife in OUR home, you have belittled me, and you have belittled my wife’s race. You also stated my wife was using the black race card just like every other black person in America, what does that mean? CONSUMERS: please do your own research, when you read the bad reviews, you will see this is how they treat customers. If you want to hire a company and not have any input in the project, this may be the company for you. David Mendoza US Army (Retired)"

"Hector now uses the company name Kitchen & Bathroom Experts. Premier was his past company, and Alamo Design & Remodeling! He is NOT with the Better Business Bureau. We did sign an agreement with him. However, we are now concerned because of what we are finding on him from here and on the BBB and Google reviews. We did not pay him anything, and he is insistent that, due to signing the agreement that we must move forward with him. He has walked away from several contracted agreements and never responded to them. We are at fault for not doing our homework before meeting with him. However, we are contacting an attorney to see if we are legally bound to work with him."

The average cost of an outdoor kitchen is around $15,500. However, since outdoor kitchens are highly customizable, you could spend anywhere from $5,000 to over $50,000 for your setup. Some important factors that can affect your pricing include the size of the kitchen, the materials you use—specifically for the countertop—the type of grill you want, and any add-on products you want coupled with your installation.
No, even if you have a vague idea of what you want, it’s a good idea to reach out to a contractor that specializes in outdoor kitchens for assistance. Professionals who have constructed kitchens for other homeowners can not only help you think about the functionality and convenience of your outdoor space—which many homeowners neglect—but they can also help you choose high-quality, durable materials that meet your budget and match the rest of your outdoor space. In fact, it’s often better to contact a contractor and get the ball rolling before you have a solidified plan for your outdoor kitchen.
Yes, outdoor kitchens usually deliver around a 50% ROI in terms of home value. This is lower than some home improvement projects, but combined with the utility you enjoy yourself, most homeowners find it well worth the investment. The specific bump in property value you’ll see from your outdoor kitchen depends on the size and quality, as well as how much usable yard space it takes up.
In many cases, you will not need permits to install an outdoor kitchen because it’s not usually considered a permanent structure and doesn’t require a foundation. If you run natural gas lines to a grill, plumbing lines to an outdoor sink, or electrical lines for lighting and power, your contractor will likely need to pull permits.
However, every municipality is different, so you should defer to a professional outdoor kitchen contractor to confirm which portions of your outdoor kitchen project require building permits.
