"I normally don't feel strongly enough to write reviews. Carlos and this company deserve one though. I've worked with quite a few contractors and have had mixed experiences. The work done by Carlos and his sons was fantastic. The experience working with them was great. If you are considering hiring these guys, DO IT. They are the real deal. Fast, communicative, and attentive to detail. They were flexible when they needed to be! Best experience with a contractor so far. Will be my go to from now on."

"I hired Space Air Duct Cleaning after reading great reviews. They didn't disappoint! The technicians were courteous and efficient. They showed me before-and-after photos, and the improvement was astonishing. My allergies have lessened, and the HVAC system works better now. Great value for the price!"

"Excellent workmanship, kept to the budget and agreed-upon timeline, and cleaned up when the job was done. I’m very pleased with the outcome. Specifically, he replaced and added flooring in my attic. I highly recommend this carpenter; he does great work!"

Small jobs welcome

"Great crew. They listened, but were a little disbelieving when I told them that it was going to cost more and take longer. With the experience I've had working on projects throughout my home, this happened every single time. I just laughed. The project manager did help me with saving on a project we were going to do, but hadn't decided on yet. Thanks to a tariff, we were able to get it done for a much more affordable price. We had 3 projects done by them. New furnace, kitchen remodel, and crown molding and baseboards installation."

"Once again, Trend did a wonderful job for us. After suffering from 5 break-ins in the early days of the Covid shutdown, many of our large windows were broken. We had to board them up and that made the inside of the church like a dark cavern. We managed to raise the money to have the security screens put on all of our doors and the sanctuary windows. This time, a year of so later, we raised the money to do two of our office windows and the windows in the fellowship hall. Trend and their employees know exactly what they are doing and sell an excellent product."

Subcontractors questions, answered by experts

Dark academia is more of an interior decorating style than it is a type of architecture, but it calls on themes prevalent in gothic architecture. Part of the appeal of dark academia is that you can achieve the look and feel without renovating or remodeling your home. Instead, you can switch to a dark color palette and introduce metal, natural wood furniture, plaid decor, old books, and gothic decor to get the look and feel just right.

Professional remodelers streamline the process, manage permits, and handle renovations efficiently—significantly mitigating risk while maintaining standards.

It can take anywhere from a few days to several months to draw up architectural plans, depending on the complexity of your project. Architectural plans are highly detailed documents that take time to complete, and any changes or alterations can significantly extend how long they take.

Italianate architecture is a reinterpretation of Renaissance styles, combining elements of Italian farmhouses and villas with Victorian materials and construction. This home style emerged in the Victorian era, gaining popularity in the U.S. in the mid-to late-1800s. The style came about in response to what many then viewed as the too-rigid and stuffy Classical style designs.

Above all, the downside to building a new house is a longer timeline. You need several months to finish the build, depending on the supply chain and labor availability in the meantime. Building a home compared to buying one is also more expensive, both in the building process and when it comes to mortgage rates and property taxes.
