"DON'T USE FIX-IT SERVICE, THEY DON'T KNOW WHAT THERE DOING. THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE. THEY PUT THE WRONG PART ON MY AIRCONDITIONER AND REFUSSED TO COME BACK OUT AND REPLACE WITH THE PROPER PART. THEY DON'T STAND BEHIND THERE WORK WITH ANY WARRANTY. THEY JERKED ME AROUND FOR 2 MONTHS AND I STILL HAD TO HIRE ANOTHER COMPANY TO INSTALL A NEW BREAKER BOX OUT BY MY AIRCONDITIONER THAT BURNT UP BECAUSE OF THE WRONG BLOWER MOTOR THEY INSTALLED, IT SHOULD OF BEEN A TWO PHASE BLOWER AND THEY INSTALLED A SINGLE PHASE BLOWER. "David and Nick on the Installation team were absolutely incredible. We were having a new split unit system installed at our home in Marlin. These guys came so prepared and from personally having experience with AC Systems being installed in another home that did not go so well; I could tell these guys knew what they were doing. They showed up with everything in order, went straight to work quickly and efficiently, were incredibly kind and communicated through out the process of the install, and made sure to coach us on the unit once it was installed. I would give David and Nick a 10 Star if it would allow me too, although I can only do 5 Stars on here. They even came back out free of charge to fix a small leak that occurred, and had us back up and running the same day!"

Ozone can be an effective way to remove smoke smell from wood furniture, but it’s best to leave this treatment to a professional. Living in a house with smoke damage isn’t always safe, but improper use of an ozone generator can also be dangerous to your health.

You should remove and clean your HRV filters about once a month, as debris will build up quickly, especially on the fresh air side of the ductwork. Even with routine cleaning, you should plan to replace the filters at least once a year or more often if you find that they’re getting dirty quickly during operation.

Clean return air vents by using a microfiber cloth soaked in warm, soapy water (or a mild cleaning solution, like vinegar and water). Wipe the interior of the vents, paying close attention to the corners and crevices where dust likes to hide. Use a vacuum brush attachment or handheld model instead of a cloth if desired. Additionally, once or twice a year, remove your air vents and soak them in warm soapy water for 30 minutes before cleaning, drying, and putting them back on.

Return air vents should be cleaned at least every two to five years. However, they should be cleaned immediately if you notice debris forming on them, mold growth in the ductwork, signs of pest infestation, or noticeably more dust on your furniture.
