"On 9/2/2015, we responded to a call for the AC system not cooling. When the technician arrived, he found the wire lead to the compressor burnt. He replaced the burnt wire with a compressor terminal kit and then tested the amp draw and it was higher than normal. This indicated the 18 year old compressor was going out. The technician then informed the customer of the high amp draw and recommended replacing the system. On 9/4/2015, our Comfort Advisor visited the home and gave the customer an estimate to replace the system and Mr. Marchesi declined. On 9/22/2015, we were called back to the home, as the AC was not cooling again. Our technician found the same repaired wire burnt again. He then replaced the wire again and tested the compressor. The compressor was no longer working. There was no charge for this call. Again, we offered to replace the system, since the current system was 18 years old and replacing just the compressor would only be a temporary solution. Mr. Marchesi declined again. We take pride in our service and strive to be the best in customer service and professionalism. Please feel free to call our office at 254-523-3600 with any concerns or questions."
