"I cannot praise this company enough. The cost was a little higher than I anticipated, but I think it was well worth it. We woke up on a Saturday to a bathroom sink full of water and overflowing onto our floor. Turning off the water did nothing. Matthew from JD Precision came out that afternoon and immediately knew that it was due to our A/C condensation not properly draining. He drained the water, cleaned the drain pipes, and gave us tips on how to prevent it happening in the future. He then looked at a couple of other issues for us that we had been planning to get a contractor out for. He could have easily "taken us for a ride" on a couple of them, but he was totally straightforward and honest about what he saw and told us we could wait on repairs (and, save our money!). THEN, as he was leaving (and we had already gone inside), he went and checked our septic system for us. We had told him that our septic sprinklers had been going off a ridiculous number of times a day but that our maintenance company had told us everything looked fine. It took him less than one minute to find a hose that was not properly attached to the aerator pump. He obviously had no obligation to go out of his way to go look at our septic system - the fact that he did was just so kind. He then sent someone else out to take a look at what appeared to be water damage on our ceiling to be sure we didn't have a leak somewhere. That gentleman (who was also extremely polite and knowledgeable) took one look and said we are totally fine. Again, completely honest. We have some toilets to replace and a few other plumbing issues to address, and I will absolutely be hiring JD Precision again. I absolutely recommend them!!"

"If I could give 100 stars, I would! I called Bacon Plumbing after noticing a faint smell of gas when I got home, and they were the first company to respond. Austin, the technician who came out, made the entire process incredibly easy. The repair ended up taking two days because the issue was bigger than expected and a specific part was needed, but the communication was clear the entire time. I couldn’t be happier with the service. "My family and I started the process of getting a generator back in May. We signed the necessary documents and work began the beginning of June. The main purpose of us getting a generator was for us to no longer be without power during Texas horrible storm season. We have an elderly disabled veteran and now a 9-month-old that resides here so it was imperative that we got the generator. This business lacks communication and accountability! We had to reach out several times in order for them to complete this process. After Hurricane Beryl left us without power for four days, they finally came and completed the job. NOW..we have a d*** gas leak!!! We called them regarding this and they made it seem as if this was normal and would send someone out to look. That never happened. Our neighbor ended up calling Centerpoint due to smelling gas and that's when it was discovered that we had a gas leak. This could've ended tragically for my family and myself and even the neighborhood. Since Centerpoint was here, they did end up shutting off the generator. So now we're back to square one with no generator and no phone call from when this matter will be resolved from the d*** company after I've made several phone calls, text messages, and emails."

"We rarely write reviews but feel compelled to do so this time so that others could avoid what we experienced with Paul The Plumber. Our regular plumber was sick so when our tenants called about a sewer backup in the house we started searching for a new plumber. We decided on Paul The Plumber based on the reviews on Google as well as its proximity to the house. We called on a Friday morning and were able to get an appointment for Monday (as a side note, the backup was caused by some work on the main line in the neighborhood so by the time Paul showed up there had been no more backup; however, we were okay for Paul to snake the pipe to make sure). Since the tenants reported that water came out of the base of the toilet, we had asked Paul to also reseal the toilet after he snaked the pipe. Paul snaked 75 feet down the pipe (with nothing coming up), based on the invoice, as well as pulling and resetting the toilet (this included replacing the wax ring and fastening the bolts per the invoice). He also replaced the fill valve of the toilet because the toilet was filled slowly. The total invoice was $629, broken down as such: service call, $69; resetting toilet; $285; fill valve replacement, $135; drain backup, $165; multiple job discount, $25. We were totally shocked. We called to ask him to take off the service call charge, which he refused; we asked about the unauthorized work of replacing fill valve, he agreed to take it off but noting in the revised invoice that we should be available "for any authorization needed", though he had never called for authorization. The final invoice is $496 - for replacing a wax ring and resetting the toilet, and to make sure the pipe wasn't clogged. We were wondering how the business got 5 star ratings. A couple of days after the job, we received an email from the email asking us to rate the business. There was a button in the email. If you clicked the button, thinking it would take you to a review page, you were wrong. Clicking the button yields a 5-star rating. Maybe that was how it got the ratings."
