Techniican (Donovan) was very courteous and professional: he told me that he would research the electronic parts and have office call me with estimates for both repairs/replacements (microwave and refrigerator). A few days later, office girl called and gave me the estimates:
Refrigerator: $62.38 part + $93.65 labor
Microwave: $113.11 part +$93.65 labor
The office girl told me that No 10% off for seniors discount would be offered !! Note: (10% discount is stated on their post in Angie's List). She also wanted a $150.00 deposit by credit card on the phone before ordering any parts.
Technician called me on Monday 26 January to indicate he would be here between 1 and 3 pm . He was on time and proceeded to replace the electronic panel on the microwave. However, the light was not replaced on the microwave.
The refrigerator: the company had only ordered the casing for the electronic display, not the entire electronic display. Therefore, the repairs could not be made and the technician left to order the correct refirgerator assembly parts. We don't know when he will be back.
I paid for the microwave repairs.

From the very beginning, ATC was a problem. There were communication issues when booking the service appointment and then the technician showed up late. My original appointment was between 4:45 and 5 p.m. Thai showed up at 5:35 p.m.
From there, he checked out the dryer and said that he would need to order a part.The part did not come in for a week so we scheduled the follow up on Friday, January 10. On January 10, they said it was the wrong part and would need to order a different part. The next appointment was scheduled for Thursday, January 30th. At that appointment, he told my tenant that the outlet was the problem, not the dryer.
He tested one leg of the outlet which showed an output of 110 volts and said that the outlet should be putting out 240 volts and the dryer was fine. A few weeks later, I had my electrician go by the house (since he is the one who completely rewired the house five years prior) and he checked the outlet and the outlet is fine. If you only check ONE LEG, then it is going to show a smaller output. The electrician showed definitively that the outlet was working and the dryer was the issue.
I contacted ATC regarding a refund for the $89.71 part that I never received, the $99.95 service charge for work that was never performed or perhaps the $86.55 service call and was told that all issues have to be reported within 90 days of the last service. Since it is currently April 17th, I am within the 90 days and I was told that I would not be offered a refund for anything.
So now I am out $276.21 plus $85 for an electrical visit that I didn't NEED and this company is a bunch of crooks. Don't let them step foot into your house (if they even bother to show up anyways).
"Dear member, Sorry for your inconvenience but I can't refund to you since you have a unit repaired back in January that's almost 3 months. If we didn't fix it right your unit can be used until April.You have 90 days warranty on the work we have done. We can send another technician go out there to troubleshoot on the unit but you refused it. If you change your mind please call us and we will send technician out there to help you fix the problem. Thanks for your input."
I called a different, reputable company and they sent out a technician the following morning. He had my product up and running in less than 5 minutes. He said one of the wires came loose. It had nothing to do with any of the digital parts on the front. In the end the other company was hassle free and cost a fraction of the price.
Having my washer and dryer not functioning was extremely frustrating but getting bad and inadequate service from ATC was much more frustrating.
I would not used this provider again, the sink/garbage disposal was leaking after he left and it was not leaking prior.
Had to call another company to do the repair.

I would recommend ATC Appliance Inc and do plan on using them in the future if the need arises. The technician was on time, polite and willing to talk with us to explain the issues and what our options were to fix it. No high pressure sales tactics or gimmicks. Just straight forward answers and even called after to follow up.
Update: I had to pay them the balance. I had to pay them a little over 300.00 and the Refridgerator is not working at this time. The technician is to come back tomorrow. I asked them before I ordered the parts and they stated a 90 day warranty parts and labor. They are now stating that the warranty starts the first day they come out. They come out on 11/26/2013 and they came out and cleaned the back of the refridgerator. I had to call them again and tell them it is not working. They didn't finish the work until Jan 21, 2014, so I felt the warranty should go from there. They are stating the warranty is completed due to them coming out the first time on 11/26/2013. The work that they did only lasted for a month and half now not working and they are stating it is not covered. They also gave no paperwork they stated that they would send me an email and never followed up. Going to let him work at it tomorrow.
