After reviewing the options, I decided on TDT and relining of my pipes with epoxy. I was out of town during the process -- 3 days without water -- and arrived home the last day. The foreman of the crew and I talked every day of the job. They did a great job and obviously great care of my house. They cleaned up after the work was complete and there have been no leaks. Best of all, the water is more pure and clear than I have ever seen in any house I've lived in.

Rather than tunnel or access the pipe via breaking out concrete or through walls they recommended a liner for the pipe.  Let me say that the repair was made without any problem.  I will use this company again and recommend them for helping address all issues plumbing related.

All went well.  They removed the almost 20 year old water heater and installed a gas Rheem Professional with a Rheem four year extended warranty.  I don't know too much about water heaters but this one is a big step above the old one.  The extended warranty added $300 to the cost but has an additional anode rod which is supposed to extend the life of the tank.  
 Everything went fine.  They hauled the old off and cleaned up.  I had such good luck with my prior work I requested the same service professionals since they know my house and it made it convenient.

  Work team was punctual and worked very hard to get this process completed as quickly and neatly as possible with highest quality outcome.  The water heater was old and they flushed it twice as it was still heating water efficiently.  I had a few leaky faucets and left the parts which they replaced along with new cut off valves and stainless braided hoses.  I provided new stainless braided washing machine hoses which they also installed.  Then it had to pass the pressure test which it did!
And the washing machine fills so fast now it is amazing!  A true test to this process.
They cleaned up very well and you would not have known service professionals had been in the home.  
For security reasons they did not want house keys.  I provided them a temporary garage door code and had the house alarm turned off just before their arrival every day.  When their day work was completed they turned the alarm on and left the doors locked as requested.  
They also removed the old concrete pipe where the residental water cut off is and put an above ground cut off which is very nice because it was full of gnats after a rain!

This company is top notch!! I have an old home built in 1927. We were constantly plagued with pipe leaks and poor water flow.
TDT Plumbing came out and evaluated the extent of work. The presentation was excellent and very professional. My husband and I gulped at the price, but we knew the alternative was living with the fear of future leaks or the cost of replacing all of our ancient plumbing.
The team arrived on time and set up shop in our driveway. The work was extensive and very complicated, but no problem was too difficult for them. We had to move out during the work, but I came to the house every day to watch the process. It was fascinating.
The work had been scheduled for one week, but due to the difficulty of the work involved and the unforeseen problems unearthed, the work extended for another week. The price did not go up.
I had no idea how wonderful the results would be. We have wonderful water pressure and peace of mind.
I only wish I had heard of them sooner.

These guys claim to be professionals but I found them anything but. They were called to give estimate for blocked garage drain and visually inspected whole house drain system for $175. They estimated that I needed $5,880 tunneling job to open drain. Five years later I decided to revisit issue and get second opinion. Another plumber came out and opened drain for about $200 and did visual and hydrostatic testing. After 4 months of clothes washer use have had no problem. I called TDT and told them I was pretty miffed at their estimate error. They sent someone out to recheck and found no problem. Now, after several months I haven't received any written assessment nor have they contacted me. I find Texas Drain Technologies, Inc. all show and blow but with little quality in both their on-site workmanship AND management. Bottom line: don't trust them.

They did the job they were supposed to do. So far so good. They were reliable, they gave us quotes. We understood everything that was gonna happen before it happens. Everything went according to plan, they said it would take 2 weeks and it 2 weeks. No surprises. The men who came to the house were knowledgeable about plumbing more so than your average plumber. This company does different types of plumbing because of what they said. They all seem to be professional, they behaved professionally.

The sales representative, Eric Schwausch arrived on time and knowledgeable and courteous. I had already viewed the various videos available on YouTube, however he had additional pictures, pipe samples of and quot;before and afterand quot; and was able to answer questions that I had. The work was scheduled and a crew of three arrived on time. It is to be noted, that as simple a process as it sounds, it isn't. The process involves several large pieces of equipment and large hoses that are connected to the water lines throughout the house to their equipment. As part of the preparation, a rubber padding was placed along areas that hoses would run which was adequate protection for my flooring. Although the process was explained, and photos presented, until they are actually set up in your house, you don't get the full impact. It is quite impressive to see. The process took about 3 days. As the water supply to the interior of the house was shut off, living conditions are somewhat different to say the least. The company did install an additional water hose at the outside of the house so water was available to fill buckets, etc. It was quite an adjustment, but I survived.

I considered this process to be fairly technical requiring experienced personnel. The determination of when all the interior of the pipes were clean and if all areas are properly coated and dried is critical to the process. The crew seemed up to the task. Thus far, I am pleased with the result, as I no longer have rusty water, pressure is good and I have new cutoff valves.
The pricing was very reasonable as compared with the estimates to replace only the horizontal lines that ranged from $8,000 to $6,800 from other plumbing companies. The total cost of $6,900 that included restoring both vertical and horizontal lines plus the installation of a new water heater was worth the living conditions and quot;adjustmentand quot;. It is to be noted that the $6,900 price reflects the result after a and quot;promotionaland quot; and and quot;cashand quot; discount were applied.

This company was awesome! We had an excellent experience with them, from the initial sales person on.

We had a leak in one of our galvanized pipes in the garage. Our plumber gave us a quote to replace the leaking section of pipe but said that more than likely, we would continue to have problems with pinhole leaks, etc due to the age of our pipes. Therefore, they presented us with two options: (1) to replace the main pipes that run through the attic (no dropdowns into bathrooms, etc. would be replaced) and (2) contact TDT Plumbing about the Ace Duraflo epipe system.
After talking with the salesman from TDT Plumbing, we opted to have them install the Ace Duraflo epipe system and coat all of the galvanized pipes in our home - main and dropdowns. We would recommend that you visit their website and read about the process but the basic outline is as follows: (1) dry out the pipes (2) sandblast the inside of the pipes to remove corrosion, etc. and to repair any sections of pipes that need to be repaired (3) coat the inside of the pipes with an epoxy.
We were able to schedule dates with TDT Plumbing several months in advance in order to minimize the disruption to our household. We were told to plan on them being in the house for five days. They began work on the scheduled day and were able to complete the work in just three days. Their work areas were cleaned before they left on the last day. There was no destruction of walls or ceilings that you might encounter in a traditional re-pipe.
We are very happy with the work that was done.

I have 40 yr old galvanized steel pipes. A different plumber told me that the leak I had was the pinhole leaks that can develop in this type of piping and suggested the Ace DuraFlo/ePipe process rather than re-plumbing the house. TDT was one of the companies that he suggested. I had TDT out to do an estimate. In the process of doing the estimate they found a leak that was not a pinhole leak, but poor workmanship by a handyman I had hired a while back. So, we arranged for him to send out a couple of guys the next day to repair this leak. They were awesome! They arrived on time, went right to work, and completed the repair in about an hour. Once complete, they thoroughly cleaned up after themselves. I will definitely have them out again for any plumbing needs I have.

We had been experiencing pin hole leaks, rusty water and poor water pressure in our house for some time due to our aging water pipes. After doing some research we decided to have our pipes relined using the Ace Duraflow system. TDT Plumbing was the company we chose to do the job. The salesman we worked with was very courteous and professional. It took us about two months to get on their books to have the job done. The first day of the job, the plumbers showed up right on time. They were
all very professional and courteous. It was quite a big job and took about four days. On the last day the plumbers cleaned up after themselves and left everything very tidy. There were no complications during the job. No holes had to be put in any of our walls. We were very glad we chose TDT to do the job and highly recommend them.

Their service was really first class and they were really good.

Without testing or touching either, TDT plumber gave opinion that rusted 1 1/2 inch steel pipe inlet into house was leaking, as was similar outlet pipe from garage. I was there and gas seemed to be coming out of ground below each pipe. TDT gave written proposal to replace gas line for $4500. The job actually cost $2400 from S and B Plumbing of Sugar Land; they used the existing inlet and outlet steel pipes which were not leaking, installed a new line, were courteous and explanatory, and cleaned up well. TDT came recommended by my home builder. I was disappointed that TDT made an incorrect diagnosis and surprised that TDT's bid was so high. Also, twice TDT had told me the leak test would cost $225, but billed me $350 for an extra hour they claimed necessary but never told me about. I paid $225 with an explanatory note.
