"within minutes, I received a call from the very friendly and professional Michelle. Calling me all the way from California! Michelle explained the services she could and could not offer in terms of my needed furniture repair. And while she cannot help me specifically with my furniture issue, she offered a very generous solution: she is going to send me leather dye for the scratched ottoman and talk me through the repair, should I need help! Michelle also explained that she deals with customers all over the country, in need of leather and purse and clothing repair, cleaning, and restoration. Based on my extremely positive experience with Michelle, I will be sure to call her in the future when I need help with fur, leather or suede goods!!!"

"Mr. Harper gave me an estimate, in writing, that seemed very fair.  He, and his son, arrived on the promised date.  They were very polite, efficient, professional, and cleaned up before leaving each day.  The job took 2 partial days for the re-stretching and 1/2 day for the cleaning.  I needed to reschedule one of the dates and  Mr. Harper was very accommodating.

I highly recommend Dale Harper and his company, Restore Tech Services.  I will hire him again when I need any carped work done."

"She listens, recommends, takes notes and does a thorough job. She is willing to make adjustments as needed. When asked, she makes recommendations on what the customer can use or do when they clean for themselves. I appreciate that she gives a heads up call about a half hour prior to her services to make sure things haven't changed and we are ready."

"I tried two companies Gatherite and Olshan both were a ripoff, so I went to home advisory which was the best thing I could have done. They referred me to Cripps foundation These guys are very friendly, professional, and they get the job done. Mr. Michael Cripp is one of the friendliest guy you can ever meet and goes over and beyond the call of duty. His staff is great and they all exceeded my expectations. If you want it done right call Cripps foundation repair. Thanks Cripps foundation."

Couch Cleaning Services questions, answered by experts

Air purifiers are meant to kill airborne mold, along with pollen and dirt. Air purifiers are a good option if you have allergies and need a whole-home solution, whereas dehumidifiers are best for naturally damp areas (like a bathroom). Consider getting an indoor air quality test to determine if an air purifier is right for you.

Inexpensive filters do an effective job of keeping your HVAC system clean and running properly. However, they usually aren’t the best at filtering out allergens and other pollutants. So, if you have pets, several people in your household, or allergies and asthma, you’ll want to invest in a higher-quality filter.

No, running your furnace without an air filter isn’t better than running it with a dirty filter. Even if it’s dirty, a filter will still prevent particles from blowing around your ducts and your house. However, neither of these options is good for your furnace or your health. Replace your filter once every one to three months for optimal furnace performance and air quality.

While you’re busy swapping out that old compressor, now is a great time to have your furnace cleaned and serviced , especially if your home is older and your heating system is as old as your AC unit. Likewise, it’s a good idea to clean your air ducts to ensure air flows properly through the house.

It’s not customary to tip HVAC technicians, and most professionals won’t expect it. However, it’s a nice way of showing your appreciation for the work they do, especially if they come out in inclement weather or on a weekend or holiday to fix an emergency issue if your heat or AC goes out in extreme temperatures. A good tip would be between 10% to 20% of the total bill, depending on how above and beyond the tech goes for your repair and on the total cost of your HVAC repair or service. For something like a routine tune-up or scheduled maintenance, tips aren’t expected.
