"To be honest, I don't think we got anything out of it. We expected window covering suggestions, colors on the walls. She brought her contractor out with her to look at our fireplace. But the whole session seemed to be, you tell me what you want. Well, I wouldn't need a designer if I knew what I wanted. I wanted a professional to come and suggest that this - what you have on the wall now would look better if you did this. That's not what we got, I guess maybe my  expectations were a little different. I thought you hired a designer when you don't think your space is being utilized right. I don't think we got much for it.

It could be I should have had something prepared or maybe talked more with them before they came. We got the entire amount of time, so it didn't take any longer than what was advertised.

We still want to get our fireplace remodeled but I have not contacted her and said yeah we're ready to go, I need ideas. I don't need people to say what do you want to do, I would just hire someone to do it. I want someone to say this might look good or have you thought about this .  

I got nothing that we could go forward with. I have not reached back out, but I probably would follow up on it since they have already looked at it."

"I was the one with the crazy schedule and their office was very persistent in getting me on their calendar.  The salesman came prepared with lots of samples and even called the Hunter Douglas office with my questions.  He was very thorough.  The install guy came at the designated appointment (about 2 weeks later) and had the blinds up and working in less than an hour.
I had priced a similar treatment through Smith and Noble and I would have taken all the risk in measuring and then all the hassle of installing....but figured I had better do  it the professional way for this price.  I am very pleased with the outcome.

"After fielding out a couple of estimates, I choose Alamo City Handy Men based
on David Palomo?s competitive pricing and enthusiasm to take on the job. I was
not disappointed. He presented me with options and gave the pros and cons of
each and did not try to force me into a specific solution. Alamo City Handy Men
gutted the tub area down to the studs and pulled the drain out away from the
wall to more of the middle of the shower. Then two guys on his crew worked on
the drain pain and the walls of the shower. They worked efficiently and
occasionally asked for my input on how I wanted the finishing details on the
tile. I felt comfortable with them working in my home. My new shower looks
great and I would certainly use Alamo City Handy Men again.
