"The team did an outstanding job.. great work installing 2 high vaulted ceiling outdoor fans. Price was more than fair.. job well done.. would have given 5 stars but the 1st appointment was a now show and 2nd they were over 2 hours late. "Honest and dependable. I called Schwab air conditioning and they arrived on time , Not to mention it was already late in the evening . He had all the parts we needed on his van and Had us up and cooling in no time. No problems since. I Would highly recommend this company and will hire again when needed. I called several a/c company’s and Schwab a/c was the most reasonable in price . They quoted a price and after all said and done price was as quoted and not a dollar more. Very pleased with outcome."

"He has awesome customer service and seems to care about the people first, who just happen to be customers. Came to my house at 9:30 pm on a Saturday night to fix my AC. Me house was too hot for my babies to safely sleep in. I thought I was going to have to get a hotel. But he came to the rescue."

"Leave it to Dwayne and forget the rest! We've used Johnson Painting on multiple projects. Dwayne's customer service and craftsmanship will exceed your expectations. I cannot be happier with the outcome each and every time! He's proficient, friendly, and completes quality work. It’s very hard to find decent, caring contractors who genuinely care about producing quality work. We will continue to use AND refer all of our friends to Johnson Painting for our interior and exterior work!!"

Bathroom Fan Installation questions, answered by experts

Yes, dust and pollen on a fan can trigger allergy attacks in many people. Additionally, fan blades can hold onto potentially dangerous bacteria particles before they die out. That’s why it’s important to keep all of the fans in your home clean and dust-free, which will help avoid any sickness or allergy flare-ups.

For a 12x12 room, a fan between 36" and 50" will work, as it falls in the range for spaces up to 144 square feet. These size fans provide adequate air circulation and ensure a comfortable environment without being overpowering. Even better, they come in a broad range of styles, offering aesthetics and functionality, making them suitable choices for maintaining an ideal room temperature and enhancing overall comfort.

Yes, you can oil an electric fan with machine or motor oil but don’t use cooking oil because it can become thick or seize up, damaging the fan. Before oiling your fan, turn it off and remove any dust and debris. Wipe away any excess lubricant after oiling.

It is unlikely that a ceiling fan will fall, even if it develops a wobble. During a proper installation, ceiling fans are securely bolted to a ceiling joist, and the fasteners used for mounting are generally separate from the components related to balancing. A wobble is typically caused by an imbalance, which can be annoying and may lead to other issues, but is not usually dangerous on its own.

However, if a fan is wobbling because it was not installed correctly, it could be at risk of falling. For safety, it's always a good idea to ensure all mounting screws are tight and to address any wobbling or imbalance issues promptly.

The average life span of a thermoelectric fan operating seasonally is two to three years. However, the life span of a wood stove fan depends on its quality, usage, and maintenance. Regular cleaning of the blades and ensuring the fan operates within its recommended temperature range can help prolong its life span.
