Tunneling is chosen over concrete break out in the living spaces: this choice worked out well with these considerations: no upset / moving (or move out), no storage rental, customer time & labor needed. For this 1977 3-2-2, discovery is made in both the sewer & water lines: the 50 YO cast iron pipes failed a pressure test & tunneling reveals pinholes in the hot & cold water lines.
