"The contracted the work off to a third party. Jon took longer than expected. The windows was installed pretty good from the looks. Communication could have been better with knowing the job will take longer and what types of trims I wanted for the windows. As the contractor that was hired for this job by this company. Did a good job with putting up decent trim. As for the new windows they look great. I purchased the myself and hired sentri homes to install them. I will need to have a my siding on my house redone to be closer to the new windows so the gaps are not so obvious. That was not expected at first. But from old storm windows and not knowing how they were put in originally. There was some unknown things that was learned from the job being completed. I will have the siding of the house slightly done to match really good for what I wanted later on. My only concern is better communication with sentri homes. Overall they were great when I did talk to them."

"taking care of all of the aspects.  The gutter was done by a subcontractor and caused a couple of issues with the roof.  I called Tony and they sent a couple of workers out and took care of the issues.  I would use them again without considering anyone else.

"I only use James when I need some work done to my house. He responds fast, gets the work done quicker than just about anyone else I've ever used and seems very concerned with leaving his customers happy."

"I had a wonderful experience with El Valle Relocation Services. As they were moving me, I asked if they knew how to hook up a washer and dryer. Not only did Thomas help me with that, he also helped me with some small projects around my condo that I knew I had to take care of when I moved in. He took care of the rust from spreading on my ac unit, installed a new water heater with drip pan, and patched up a piece of sheet rock that was falling off my wall. I did not expect to have to change out my water heater that day. But as he was draining it, to install the drip pan, there was rust water shooting out of the hose. He took care of it all in one day without my electricity turned on. I appreciate all his effort and his work. He was very fair in what he charged me, considering how much time/attention to detail he put in. He even went with me to purchase the water heater. He really did go the extra mile. I highly recommend this company's expertise."

Siding questions, answered by experts

Brick and stone are durable, low-maintenance materials that offer excellent insulation, aesthetic appeal, and can increase property value.

Concrete log siding can last several decades, from 30 to 50 years or more, as long as you keep up with proper maintenance. Luckily, concrete log siding is much lower maintenance than typical types of wood siding, so you’ll also have fewer expenses during that time. To keep your concrete log siding in good shape, you’ll simply need to reseal it every two to five years. Confirm with your manufacturer to determine how often to reseal.

Though vinyl siding is affordable, the material may not last as long or look as good as other siding materials. For example, wood siding has a beautiful, natural appearance but requires much more maintenance to keep your siding looking as good as new.

Fiber cement siding is another alternative that mimics the appearance of wood siding. Like vinyl siding, fiber cement is a low-maintenance material, but it does come at a higher price and is heavier and more difficult to install. Weigh the pros and cons of all siding materials before you decide on the best option for your home.

Professional installers typically recommend caulking between siding boards, but it depends on the material. With Hardie board and fiber cement siding, manufacturers don't recommend adding caulk because it can trap moisture in the joints or discourage flexibility in fluctuating temperatures. Consult your local siding contractor about caulking best practices before adding any to your home’s exterior.

Wood siding requires that air can circulate behind it and that water can drain away if necessary. Your home needs a water-restrictive barrier underneath furring strips to achieve the air and water gap.
