they installed this furnace ..in NOVEMBER 2023 .THIS IS THE 2ND TIME I AM HAVING PROBLEM .IT WAS AGREED THEY WILL SERVICE .CANNOT GET IN TOUCH WITH THEM .I LEFT NUMEROUS MESSAGE .AND I AM VERY FRUSTRATED..MY HOUSE IS COLD .I AM FEELING SICK WITH A COLD NOW I TOUGHT IT WAS A SEARS COMPANY ..FRAUD????

I am absolutely mortified at the customer service and work done by this company. I had a roof installed 2020 and I currently have a leak. Iâ m supposed to have a lifetime warranty but yet the company is not responding to any of my calls or message. I wouldâ ve used a different company but Sears has always been a household name. Now they are just causing leaking holes in my house!!! I spent over $12,000 and now itâ s causing more damage to my home and pockets before the installation!!!

Their AC unit leaked after 2 years and about 5 uses. Their service people were completely unable to fix it. Worst company ever! Their own service person recommended I buy another AC unit from a different company.

3 years and 4 days to get the original horrible job partially done. Originally we had 8 windows replaced, the installer left rotted wood base that WAS to be replaced, damaged trim by trying to lift a big window by using screws in the top molding thus pulling it away from the house and left a 1/2 inch gap the hornets love to nest in. Windows installed with a twist and offset nearly an inch (I do have photos I can send you) Sealant smeared all over the windows and house. Indoor trim glued to the exterior and when they ran out of that garbage, tried to fill 3 I ch long, 1 inch wide gap with sealant. BAD FORM, lousy customer service, MANY MANY calls the first year until a manager came out and attempted to bully my wife and I about the work and it was our houses fault the work came out poor, (and he constantly complained about how he USED TO BE in bank management and did not like his job or the company)the windows removed fit very well and we're just old. This place closed down the Salt Lake City area office because of all the issues arising from the contractors they used. They now send people up from Houston Texas to perform any service needed. This place sux badly from our experience. We will now call a reputable window contractor out to see what it will take to redo all the rest of the 6 windows and send them the estimate along with a legal letter of intent. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!! THE WORST EXPERIENCE PERIOD! 14+thousand dollars in the toilet.

I have purchase hav system from Sears. They installed it but since day one we have issues. Lousy service. Now I have same issue as last year and no one from Sears side pickup the dumb phone so I can submit a service. Horrible. I would never recommend their services to anyone.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I hired this company in July 2020 to install an air conditioner. Once they came out, they informed me I needed a new heater because the one I had needed to be bigger to assist with the AC. As soon as they installed both items, the AC never worked upstairs. I called immediately. They sent out another crew and said everything appeared fine, that I needed my ducts cleaned. I hired a different company to clean the ducts. The AC never worked upstairs. Last week, less than four years after installation and still with more than a year on the extended warranty, the thermostat quick working. I called Transform Home Improvements/Sears and was told they had no technicians in the area but will call me back within three days with the name of a representative. A week passed, no phone call. I called another company and they came out and said I had a blown fuse in the unit. They repaired the fuse. Then, two days later, again the fuse blew. Called Transform again, no technicians in the area. Called the same company that came out the first time, now it's a blown motherboard. $2500.00 plus I have other issues the ducts. Called Transform again to use the warranty and was told again, no technicians. However, this time I was told that they would reimburse me for $1200.00 of the $2500.00, if I produce a receipt. I very much doubt if I'll see the $1200.00. I even called the technician that did the initial install and he told me that he quit the company almost four years ago (my install was in July 2020) because it was a shoddy company. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! It'll cost you lots more after the initial investment due to cheap materials and shoddy technicians.

I hired Sears Home Improvement to repair my washing machine. A technician came, said he needed to order a part. I foolishly paid up front for the part and the labor to install it. The part was never received and there was no contact from Sears about the delay. I could never connect with a human being on the phone--just recorded messages. After 5 weeks, I hired another company and that technician said the part Sears wanted to order was not correct anyway. I have been trying to get my money back to no avail. This has been ongoing since the beginning of November. A law suit is my next step, I guess.

My front door is leaking air someone was suppose to come look at it a year ago and no one did their was ice accumulated on the door in the inside. I HAVE TRIED TO REAC H THE COMPANY OVER THE PAST YERA MY CONTRACTOR FOR MY PROJECT NONE OF THSE NUMBERS WORK !

I have been trying to get them out here since 2 mnth after job completion to fix a leak 4 years

Had a problem with the system 1 1/2 years after install. Tries five different numbers at first they immediately knew who was but transferred me to a number that went dead soon after. Tried calling again and then to several other numbers. None of them could bring up our installation and then transferred me to a different number that went to a recording and then disconnected. After 45 minutes of trying I gave up and called a differemt company.

Sears Home Improvement Products (SHIP) came to my home to consult, I requested a written bid but only received an incomplete email bid which did not provide details on products to be installed. No hard copy ever provided. [email protected]. HVAC specialist, [email protected]. Area Sales Manager, [email protected]. all contacted to ask why a screen shot of my bank balance was requested in order to demonstrate my ability to pay. SHIP requested full payment prior to installation. I responded that $1,000 was max downpayment and full payment would be paid on 100% completion. With some hesitation I e-signed an agreement, I then printed out the agreement and read about the right to cancel in less than 3 business days. I sent the Notice of Cancelation to the address listed on the agreement by registered mail but later received the Cancelation notice back from the USPS "Return to Sender No Such Number Unable to Forward." I immediately put a stop payment on my check which worked however I never received my check back which SHIP still holds. Untrusted and untrustworthy. Do not to business this firm or men.

Please, please RUN, don't walk away from this outfit. This by far the worst contractor experience I've had in over thirty years. I suffered at least two distinct instances of fraud, multiple months of delay and am a couple of thousand bucks out of pocket on my heat pump installation project. A little more detail: This outfit describes itself as being "Sears", but is really "Transform SR Home Improvement Products LLC" operating as a franchise out of Florida, with local agents around the country (the SF Bay Area in my case). Presumably they bought/licensed the "Sears" brand name, but that seems to be the only connection to the venerable old chain. They don't do any of the work themselves, they sub-contract to local contractors to perform the actual installation work. These contractors clearly hate dealing with Sears because their margins are tiny, and they have no trouble bad-mouthing Sears, and have no incentive to do good work. In my case, one sub-contractor performed the installation, and a separate sub-contractor was involved to deal with permitting and the required HERS (heating efficiency) testing. Both of these sub-contractors screwed up royally, and the local "Sears" people didn't stand behind the work performed (or not) by either. The installing contractors failed their inspection twice, left things electrically unsafe, and even fraudulently faked a power outlet that's required by code (and that I paid for, of course). I ended up having to fix things myself, at my own expense, because the work was so shoddy and unsafe - in short the installers were utterly untrustworthy. I also had to waste my time standing the inspections they failed due to their shoddy work. In no instance did the Sears people even express regret over the hassles I experienced, let alone apologise or make any effort to undo the damage or compensate me for my time and expenses. Bottom line: My very worst ever contractor experience both in terms of quality of work and customer service. Yes, this is a franchise outfit, so your mileage may vary. This is a little like finding mouse droppings in a hamburger. Will the chain's head office ever answer the phone? Other franchisees may be just fine. Indeed, mouse droppings in your hamburger might not kill you, but that doesn't mean that you should go to this hamburger joint if you have any choice in the matter, and you do.

After almost a year they installed my sidings and gutters..the defectiveness and poor workmanship came out. A piece of sidings came off, and water stacked in the gutter when it rains because it's not even level. Every part of the house that has a gutter installed doesn't look like water from rain didn't drop in the gutter but in between the gutter and the baseboard or what they called fascia. I am worried that the water runs inside and rotten the wood. I don't know if they put a dripping edge under the shingle. Soooo frustrated that I hired this company.

DO NOT HIRE!! We had 16 new windows installed and the installer never returned to complete this project. So now, WE have to fix his mistakes! Customer Service is HORRIBLE! Transform was to compensate us for the poor quality. Well, we're still waiting (it's been 2 years).

Please do not order from them. I order 11 windows 7 of the casement windows installed screens does not fit. Had to have them replace. and had to wait over a year to get them. 5 of the casement windows do not close, I have been waiting to have this fix. Installed since November of 2021. Three repair technicians and the windows still cannot close. The last repair technician took out three of the windows did not repair them and put them back up. there are gaps now to the sides of the three windows and the base of the windows. My contact is not returning calls and I am getting lousy customer service. I am now going to complain to consumer affairs. Do not use transform.

I have had the new AC central air installed 3 years ago and each year there has been an issue with the unit. Transform refused to take responsibility after the first year even though it was the same exact problem they said they fixed the first year. The condenser coils freeze and water leaks. This has been the same issue over and over for 3 years.

Do not hire this company. It is absolutely impossible to get ahold of them once the work is done. We had AC installed in 2021. Unbeknownst to us they forgot to have the AC inspected by the city. We received NO instruction regarding inspection from the installers or project manager. When we discovered the permits were not closed, we attempted to reach out to Transform and all emails we had were deactivated. Their customer service line is absolutely unhelpful. I was provided phone numbers to call that were dead lines, or just took be directly back to the phone tree that I used to speak with that individual. I was promised by several people on multiple occasions that I would receive a call back and never did.

They Installed a Furnace/Air Conditioner and flooded my basement. They did $16,000 damage to my basement. Had to have a different company come and pull up carpet, cut the drywall out and throw away furniture that was destroyed Then they had to put blowers and dehumidifiers and put plastic up so that the mold would not come upstairs. Now 2 years later after I canceled there 2-year service they put in the contract that every time you called, they were a no show no call. I would call and they said they would have to reschedule the appointment again no show. After only having this unit for 2-years! I had to have the Duel Run Capacitor replaced at my cost. I have also come to learn, from an experienced and reputable HVAC company, that the unit they installed is a 13 SEER unit instead of the 14 SEER unit that I was sold and paid for. Now I guess I will have to get my Attorney involved. DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY, TRANSFORM HOME IMPROVEMENT.

Please never use this company. The service department is the worst.

18 new windows, 18 months to complete the project. The caulking around the outside of the windows looks like it was done by children. Their customer service is the absolute worst in the business. Do not be fooled by their cheaper price. NOT good company at all!!!

I purchased a mini split ductless system for heating and air conditioning from trans form home pro (Sears). The manufacturer of the unit is Carrier. I purchased the system 2 1/2 years ago. The heating and A/C work great but the service this company provided is terrible. I have the main unit outside with 4 wall units inside the house attached to the main unit. One of my wall units makes a sound. Not a terrible sound just a sound. I had the technician, Jim, come over here 3 times. He just stands on the floor and looks up at the unit, never got into the system, and says it is the rollers. That is it. He then walks out of my home and does not fix it. He says it is not covered by the warranty. What difference does that make? I wanted it fixed. HE DID NOT FIX IT. Then after he leaves I can not get a hold of anyone to help me. Yes, you talk to customer service people that say everything will be OK so they make another appointment for you. I had three appointments. Get this. The units inside your home are on your wall. He did not even bring a stool so he can get inside your system. He never looked inside the unit. He just stood on the floor and said it is your rollers. I do not think he knows what it is. He just wanted to get out of my home without doing anything and get to his next appointment. These units are great. But if you want excellent customer service DO NOT GET IT FROM TRANSFORM HOME IMPROVEMENT formerly known as SEARS. I hope this helps. I am not making it up. Oh before I forget, customer service says I am covered for the problem and if something happens that is not covered I will get 25% off the cost of the repair. I have the Gold plan. BUYER BEWARE

The boiler was installed in February 2022. My house is not getting a heat, meanwhile, the area where the boiler is installed is nice and toasty. After several unanswered communication with this company, I called PSE@G, and they sent someone out, the worker told me the boiler was not installed properly, there is a gap between the wall and the boiler, so the hot air is escaping, and the boiler needs to be reinstalled. This is week 2, and no one is calling me back. or anything. Meanwhile, there was a red light blinking on the system, and it shut down! So I have no heat. I am a senior with limited funds, but I have to now find someone to reinstall the boiler and pay them. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

One of my bedroom windows failed to stay open 21/2 years ago. I have called multiple times and finally someone came out 1 1/2 years ago and said that the window was defective and needs to be replaced. As of today,1/2/2023, nothing has been done and I can't even talk to someone on the phone to discuss this. At this point, I think I may need a lawyer. Please respond ASAP.

Furnace installed. Looking for follow on support. IT DOES NOT EXIST. Do not deal with people.

Do you have a lot of free time, extra money, and love terrible results? Hire Sears Home Transform. They sent an entirely unskilled person to install our shower. A 2-day job took 4 days. A reorder of parts was necessary to reinstall the shower. 10 months later after MANY appointments to see the previous work (these were supposed to be the reinstall but the men would just look at the old job and leave, we had 3 same-day cancellations) they finally sent capable people. The original wall panels were not tall enough for the job (the 2 people who measured should have caught that) and the final install resulted in damage to the drywall which had to be covered in ugly trim. The wallpaper was torn away and now repapering the bathroom is necessary (a great expense). From beginning to end we were without a shower for 13 months. I had paid half down and was willing to lose that payment just so I could start over with another company. But they insisted that they had to finish and would charge us for the remaining balance. At least 10 days of lost work time were set aside for installation and appointments. People kept leaving the company and I had to call any number I could find online to reach someone to finish this project. The original scheduler was useless. The only people who knew how to do their jobs were the salesperson and the billing person. Figures. Do NOT trust this company with your home or time.
