"I had a wonderful experience with El Valle Relocation Services. As they were moving me, I asked if they knew how to hook up a washer and dryer. Not only did Thomas help me with that, he also helped me with some small projects around my condo that I knew I had to take care of when I moved in. He took care of the rust from spreading on my ac unit, installed a new water heater with drip pan, and patched up a piece of sheet rock that was falling off my wall. I did not expect to have to change out my water heater that day. But as he was draining it, to install the drip pan, there was rust water shooting out of the hose. He took care of it all in one day without my electricity turned on. I appreciate all his effort and his work. He was very fair in what he charged me, considering how much time/attention to detail he put in. He even went with me to purchase the water heater. He really did go the extra mile. I highly recommend this company's expertise."

Pool Table Assembly questions, answered by experts

For pool and spa service, choose quartz or pebble surface finishes, which outlast standard plaster under the intense Laredo sun. Select concrete or natural stone for decking to withstand significant thermal expansion. Use epoxy-based grouts and UV-resistant PVC plumbing to prevent rapid deterioration. Because the local water supply is extremely hard, install treatment systems designed to manage high mineral levels and prevent severe scaling on your surfaces and equipment.

Helpful?

During pool and spa service, owners face unexpected expenses from accelerated chemical consumption caused by extreme TX heat. High evaporation rates require frequent water replacement, and strict municipal drought restrictions complicate filling. You must also budget for soil remediation, as expansive clay requires extensive sub-base preparation. Finally, unaddressed mineral scaling from the hard water supply causes premature equipment failure, forcing you to pay for expensive replacement parts.

Helpful?

A major mistake during pool construction and installation is underestimating the rocky caliche soil, which requires specialized excavation equipment. Homeowners also frequently ignore high evaporation rates in the semi-arid TX climate. Always install a cover or auto-fill system to conserve water. Plan for proper deck drainage to handle intense rainfall events. Finally, choose finishes designed for hard municipal water to prevent rapid scaling and surface deterioration.

Helpful?

Inspect your pool for cracked or blistering plaster caused by the extreme heat in Laredo. White crusty deposits along the waterline indicate that previous chemical balancing failed to handle the hard local water. You should also check for crumbling grout and lifted deck surfaces caused by expansive clay soils. If algae returns rapidly despite treatment, hire a local professional to correct your pool and spa service setup.

Helpful?

Pool and spa service requires year-round active maintenance in TX, as the warm climate prevents seasonal winterization. Test and adjust your water chemistry multiple times a week during the summer to combat rapid chlorine degradation. Clean your filters frequently to remove heavy local dust. You must actively manage calcium hardness to prevent severe scaling, and inspect your deck surfaces seasonally for cracking caused by shifting clay soils.
