The movers were a little late showing up -our apartment is kind of difficult to find though -but got right to work. The workers were very polite and worked very efficiently, and were considerate as to what we wanted done. It took about 2 1/2 hours from the time they showed up til the time the job was done and they left. they took great care of our breakables (TV, Lamps, mirrors, glass table, grill) and even transported all of my plants as well. Did a great job.

They were fantastic. They moved so much stuff and never once complained. I thought I would never get out but they did it all. I am so happy with them and highly recommend them to anybody. Ray Garcia is the owner, a wonderful young man that truly has a good business. I was blessed to have them do the work.

The job I have required me to be in a certain distance between two of the local hospitals in my city. I called Ray and explained how I could possibly be requiring a move within 24 hours. He was very accommodating, however due to complications with my lease I moved the date for later. Ray showed up to deliver boxes, another great service he provided, and to also check out the number of large items I would need help with. He asked through questions and estimated an hour for the move.

The owner met with me prior to the date I requested for the move, to see what he was moving. I actually changed the date within 24 hours of my initial requested date and he was most accommodating. They showed up on time, worked very quickly and, most importantly to me, very carefully.
I did not have everything packed at that point, so I will be hiring them again to complete my move.

Before our move I called around to all of the movers listed online in Laredo and called a couple of storage companies to ask who they would recommend. Two recommended Handsome Muscle Movers. I left a message with Ray, who I think is the owner, and he called me back a few hours later after he finished a move. His price, $75 per hour was about the median quoted. However, when the other movers gave me a time estimate, they all gave an estimate of 5 to 8 hours for the total move which I disagreed with. We had moved about the same distance (under two miles) several times (in San Antonio) with similar belongings and it never took over 3.5 hours for the whole move. Ray was professional, said he couldn't know exactly how much time it would take, but informed me that they had a "big move" that day that took 5 hours total. So I booked them for 9:00 am. Ray arrived at 9:20, but they forgot the key to the moving truck's padlock. After that was obtained the move started at 9:30. Everything went smoothly. Ray and his assistant never stopped or took a break. Our items filled up the truck before everything was loaded (their truck was smaller than the other movers that we have used) so a second trip was required. The whole move took 2.5 hours exactly. I was glad to add a few dollars for their combination of speed and care.
