"I had a very disappointing experience with HR Phoenix Electrical. The electrician arrived about 50 minutes late ? which I was willing to overlook ? but it quickly became clear the technician was moving extremely slowly. After taking a long time to diagnose the issue, he told me I simply needed a new GFCI outlet. I?ve replaced these myself before for under $20, so I was surprised when he quoted $298 for the hour, despite only being there roughly 30 minutes at that point. He then said he had to leave and purchase a GFCI from a hardware store ? surprising for such a basic and common part. He assured me he would be back, complete the work, and still finish within an hour total. Instead, he was gone about 25 minutes, returned, and ended up barely over the one-hour mark. Because of that, he charged me for a second full hour, even though the delay was entirely due to his slow pace and leaving to buy a part he should have had on-hand. I would've done it myself if I knew he was going to lie."

"Jose came to our home to help install a gas line to our gas stove. We had bought the gas stove from Home Depot but their installers were unable to complete the job I went to Home Advisor to find a plumber and I'm sure glad that I did. They were very slow to make arrengements to take the second payment. There were several times when it was difficult to get response by email. I emailed several times to make the final payment, and could not get them to do so. The conduit in the Attic is run so that it crosses open space at head knocking height. Over all the system is installed and working, but lacks fine touches"
