"The team was great, especially the leads Earle, Austin, and CJ. They give you a heads up on their ETA, introduce themselves and the plan to ensure they carry out the agreement you had with the first PoC who for me was Jarret Perkins. Also a very great guy as well who will ensure your questions and overall inquiries are taken care of before, during, and after the service! The team who worked even took the time to save the plants that were near the work area and cut around the stone entrance I have so I can put it back together instead of making their lives easier and cut straight through that area of the home. They were even kind enough to seal a small chip in the driveway with the cement they used to close back the holes they made. Which by the way you can?t even see they even worked on due to how they were capable of cleaning and setting EVERYTHING back together."

"I have to say I was a little nervous spending so much money on upgrading my home, but it was worth every penny!  First, I met with Nick who was very friendly and arrived the very minute our appointment was set for.  He was very knowledgable about helping me make energy saving improvements and recommended products that saved me money even though the others available were more expensive.  The men who showed up to do the windows and attic insulation were also very friendly and were very clean.  I really appreciated that when they had to come back a second day they picked up their work area at the end of the day before they left.
Nick checked in with me during the installation and afterwards to make sure I was happy.  I really appreciate the work done by Energy Home Pros.  I highly recommend them to anyone needing help saving on energy bills."

Affordable Plumbers questions, answered by experts

When outside temperatures drop below 32 degrees Fahrenheit, your pipes are at risk of freezing. To prevent this, especially when you are away from home, set your thermostat to a range of 55 to 60 degrees to provide enough warmth. Maintaining this temperature can help you avoid costly water damage from burst pipes.

Yes, it’s necessary to have a sink drain stopper. While your sink will still work without a stopper, a stopper is necessary to keep things other than water from going down into your pipes and potentially clogging them. It prevents plumbing problems by keeping out unwanted debris and objects like hair, soap, toothpaste, dirt, and jewelry.

Most jurisdictions legally require a backflow preventer on your drip irrigation system. Even if you live in a place with less strict laws, installing one is a great idea. If you’re planning to use fertilizers or other chemical additives in your garden, a backflow preventer helps ensure those substances stay outside of your home’s water supply. Depending on the complexity of your irrigation system, you may be able to install one for under $100.

You can use a water gauge to check that water pressure, which should be between 40 and 60 PSI. If you don’t have a water gauge, you can also time how long your showerhead takes to fill up a 1-liter container. If it takes longer than 6 seconds, you’re dealing with a case of low water pressure.

Plumbers will typically take one to two hours to install a new drain pipe, but that timeline can vary based on the area’s accessibility, the drain length, and the type of drain line. Replacing an easily accessible p-trap under a sink could take as little as a half an hour, while replacing a larger section of drain line behind the wall could take as long as three to four hours. When hiring a plumber for your specific installation, ask them to provide an estimated timeline to get a more accurate assessment.
