I do mobile repairs and the cost of interior parts has gone thru the roof and fixing the existing parts can make a lot of sense. I started repairing auto upholstery in DFW over 35 years ago. Vinegar’s acidity, which helps to make it an effective all-purpose cleaner, can also aid in removing adhesive with less chance of damaging the wood and finish than more aggressive solvents.
