20+ year old solid wood table looks great after Curtis’ refinishing work. He was meticulous in making sure all surfaces including legs and apron were refinished as well. Punctual and courteous.

Curtis was fantastic to work with. I have bedroom furniture from the 1960s that belonged to my in-laws. It has sentimental value to my husband so I wanted someone I felt like I could trust to do the refinishing. Curtis did a fantastic job on the furniture. The furniture was showing its age and he restored beautifully. His quote was very reasonable and he was very good at communicating with me. I cannot recommend him enough. If you need furniture refinished, Curtis is your man for the job.

Curtis Kuhn is a master craftsman. He converted my old family cedar chest into a beautiful heirloom piece for my family. The cedar chest was in really bad shape, and Curtis made it remarkably lovely and like new again. He takes great pride in his work, and his prices are reasonable. Wood furniture refinishing

Curtis Kuhn has created several custom furniture pieces for me (several are pictured in the pictures section of his company on Angie's List), including an entry way table, a shelf, a coffee table, and a cedar shoe shelf for our closet. His work is great, and he can deliver (and draw up) what you are describing from your head and inspiration photos. He's awesome...hope he doesn't retire before all my projects are done. :)

The table is beautiful and I am very pleased. Curtis was very professional and kept me up to date on progress as it was being worked on and finished during the Covid 19 lockdown.

We needed two pedestals for Elfa Carts in our craft room. Curtis went above and beyond our expectations. I was expecting a simple 2x6 frame with a plywood top. Curtis inset the top into the frame and everything was sanded and finished to a satin touch. Excellent work! I highly recommend Kuhn Custom Woodworking.

Mr. Kuhn is a master craftsman ! His work is impeccable, he is timely and took great care refinishing my antique pew. He also cut it into two pieces making two small benches so that I could gift one to my son. The piece is very sentimental to our family and Mr. Kuhn took great care in his work. What a fantastic job! The restoration of our very unique 1800s rocker, tiger oak table, and Philippine mahogany corner table was simply outstanding. It wasn't an easy job, missing pieces were recreated and the artistic restoration of the "faces" on the rocker's arms was astounding. Thank you Curtis and Mary!!

The table was had been in our family (prior generation) for many years but was in very bad shape and not usable. Curtis repaired and restored it to functionality and beauty beyond what we had expected, while keeping the original design and parts wherever feasible. I worked with Curtis to get the project going- it involved staining a wood fireplace mantel in our home. Unfortunately we had a chance of heart about staining it and did not proceed with the project. However, I really appreciated Curtis's upfront cost breakdown, etc. He gave me a detailed price and explained how the quote was developed. He was also extremely professional when we decided not to proceed.

It went exceptionally well! Curtis was the epitome of professional from answering my first email to delivering the table. He gave us what I consider to be a great price, showed up on time to evaluate the job, to get the table, and when he returned the table. He met the timeframe in which he bid the job to be complete and the table is absolutely gorgeous!! It's not that it just looks a lot better, it is a definite "WOW!!". Excellent my experience with the Kuhns was professional from beginning to end. There are no words to subscribe their services. Had I experienced their services 30yrs ago I could have saved myself many years of heartache dealing untrustworthy contractors. The custom bookcase they built is perfect as if they built it for themselves. They put their hearts and souls into their work. Extremely well. Daniel Kuhn communicated through out the process letting me know when pick up would occur to when the work would be completed. He was also very responsive to texts. There was a part of the re-finished headboard that did not look right after we got it back. Daniel came out immediately and touched up the finish and made everything look amazing for no extra charge. I would recommend Kuhn without hesitation
