"Mr. Vasquez came to the house for an estimate. He sat down with us & asked for as many details as possible. He gently offered advise when we were unsure of an answer. He got us an estimate in a very timely manner. We had 2 other contractors come out for an estimate. J & D was not the cheapest, nor the most expensive. We did feel that the price was a little steep at the time. (the end result went above & beyond the price) When we decided to go with them, he stayed in contact with me & came to the sight daily. During the construction, I decided to add crown molding & other detail molding on the walls, as well as painting. Mr. Vasquez did not blink an eye, he graciously called in his painter & completed the request. The project took less than a week to complete (even with the add on's). My house was cleaner when they left than when they arrived. The completed shelves look as if they were constructed with the house. The gutters were a must with the rain & elevation of the new built house. The price was slightly lower than other bids we had gotten. My husband said his only regret was that we didn't find J & D before we built our house, that we would have had them build the entire house. I simply could not be more please with the outcome. Every employee was incredibly nice, and professional. The cabinet doors on the book shelves were custom made & the detail is flawless. I honestly can not say enough about this company. It was worth every single penny, and then some! We will be using them again for other projects around the house. I know I will not be disappointed."

He did much more with building two new cabinets, installing new lighting, hanging a new door and installing the kitchen backsplash. "I hate being condescended to. Listen to what I want and then give suggestions on how I might be able to work that out in my kitchen. Don't just tell me it can't be done. I felt like I was wasting my time. I asked about a particular type of closet (not realizing it was part of a bigger cabinet...how would I know) and she told me to follow her (using her finger to me like a child) and said I couldn't have it because it was as part of a bigger piece. She could have just said that. I said if I can't make my kitchen more "usable" (less wasted space), WHY to with custom cabinets. I could just reface. The woman behind me who was waiting to ask her a question said. Listen, if you can't get what you want, I don't blame you for not spending the money. It's easy to reface. So, I called another company and, low and behold, I'm getting partial refacing and partial custom cabinets. He came and we discussed HOW I could get my carousel cabinet (uh - he suggested I go from a double to a single sink - easy peasy) AND, he came in at half the price your website suggested I might pay. It is really nice to be listened to...especially when it's MY money I'm spending."
