"After discovering mold growing out of one of our vents, we used Angie's List to call 5 companies for quotes. TakeAir was the only company that took several pictures of the vent and actual AC unit. Avi sat and talked with my husband and I about the problem, explained our options, and pricing, including warranties. They had the longest warranties for their services, which gave use the impression that they back their work. We scheduled with them on Thanksgiving (yes, they were available for us to contact with any questions). They came out Sunday and worked diligently from 10:30am-3pm. They covered our furniture and belongings to ensure that it wouldn't get dirty. They took our vents off and washed them, cleaned the boxes, intakes, ducts and unit. After washing, they sanitized and installed the UV light system to prevent the problem from occurring again. They cleaned up afterwards. The smell of our house is wonderful after they used their organic solution. We are extremely pleased from the initial call, schedule for quote, questions, schedule for job, and actual job. "I had a fantastic experience working with Keith, the owner of CertaPro Painters of Central Houston. Last year, I was prepping my home in Houston to put on the market; this was particularly difficult since I live in Minnesota! Initially, I hired Keith and his crew to simply paint the trim on my house (a task "beneath" other painting contractors). He and his crew teated the job with professionalism and started and finished work in a timely manner. Since I was overseeing this work remotely, Keith took many pictures for me (before and after). Some of the pictures were such good quality that I ended up using them instead of my realtor's on the listing website!

After the paint job, Keith said to let him know if there were any other painting/handyman tasks that I needed to get my house ready and that either his crew or someone he knew would most likely be able to take care of it. Well, after a different contractor backed out on me most inconveniently, I did end up taking Keith's offer, and he helped me coordinate and complete many random tasks: installing seam covers between different types of flooring, installing a ceiling fan extension rod and wireless remote, installing quarter-round, powerwashing the driveway, etc.

All of the work was done well and at a fair price. What's truly invaluable though is finding someone you trust enough to let into your home and someone who you know will get the job done right. I was so fortunate that I didn't have to try to find ten different people to get the various tasks done; finding one good person is difficult enough!

I appreciated how convenient Keith made it for me to work with him remotely. He emailed the recepits I needed to sign, and then I would scan and email them back. Everything was done very promptly. I unfortunately never got to meet Keith in person, but my realtor did and spoke very highly of him, and I got a very pleasant impression from the emails and phone calls. We even got a holiday greeting card from him and his family, which I felt was a nice personal touch to doing business.
