He: replaced mailbox post and installed house numbers; cleaned and painted lamppost; patched broken concrete; repaired and painted yard house door and wall; replaced every HVAC vent; replaced translucent plastic panels below fluorescent kitchen lights; repaired and painted bedroom, bathroom and family-room walls and "popcorn" ceilings; painted walls and shelves in pantry; replaced pull-down attic stairs; touched up stain on kitchen cabinets; painted edges of front porch to match bricks; power-washed siding and foundation on back of house; replaced weather stripping around utility room door; cleaned and repainted porch-light fixture; made and installed new trim molding in kitchen; disposed of old and excess paint. "I recently hired Robert to install a new range hood and related ducting to the outside of the house. I was initially impressed with Robert's work ethic when he came out to our home to size up the job and present me with a quote. Throughout the entire process, Robert always kept in touch and arrived promptly each day. Because of a piece of granite backsplash, Robert had to furr out the wall above the granite to accommodate the new range hood supporting bracket. This was anything but an easy install. Robert's exacting measurements saved the day, however, for they were right on the money. After the hood was up, Robert proceeded to cut out the openings for the duct work, installed new rigid vent pipes through the ceiling into the attic, installed the roof vent, connected the vent pipes to the roof vent, and built a sheetrock housing for the vent pipe above our cabinet (this included taping, floating and texturing this housing). Again, Robert's measurements and overall skill resulted in a stunning addition to our kitchen. I should note that Robert had to spend a considerable amount of time in our very cramped attic measuring where to cut the holes in our ceiling and roof for the vent pipe. Robert was the consummate professional, however, and never complained about the heat or working conditions in the attic. I strongly recommend Robert for any house projects one may have, for he is skilled in all facets of home construction."

"Overall I was happy with the job - I was selling my house and just didn't have time to do all the extra little things so I called in some help here. They were quick with scheduling and flexible with the job in the case I had any other tasks in the two hour period. 
The Handyman took care of it well, and the Scheduler was pretty well versed in telling me what supplies he'd need. However, I think he would have preferred a different type of caulking, because he had some trouble with the kind I had being a bit more sticky than he was used to. He ended up getting it done fine, but it could have gone a little more smoothly for him and cleanly for me if he had the caulking he preferred. However, he could also have used some painters tape to make it a little easier/less messy - but every person has their own way of doing things I suppose. 
I'd use them again, but I think I would insist on just having a five minute call with the actual handy man before the job to see if there were any particular materials, tools, or brands of materials he'd prefer to use. The Scheduler is knowledgeable, but like I said - every person has their own way of doing things and types of tools they do better with - especially if the job is cosmetic (like caulking).
