"Such a wonderful group of men who carefully wrapped our antique furniture and packed my other antiques. They moved them all into our garage with the smaller pieces gently lifted into the 2nd story. The same group returned three times to return the furniture into the house and then to unwrap the antique items and placed them back into place. Nothing was broken or chipped. In 13 years and 4 moves via the military; we have never had such professional and pleasant movers. I will use them again."

"Terrible, they came highly recommend and I was in tears by the end of the move. They were over an hour late and did not call to notify me they were running late. They got grease all over my couch and mattress to the point that they are ruined. The scratches several walls, doors, and decking. They were NOT equipped to move the safe although they told me they do it all the time. My beautiful hardwood floors have several deep scratches in them from they way they moved in the safe. Terrible experience and will never use them or recommend them. They also did not wear masks and used very foul language. Very unprofessional."

Small jobs welcome

"Excellent moving company. Arrived early so they could start on time. Careful but fast in moving belongings. The movers themselves were polite, professional, and pleasant. They worked really hard to disassemble my dad's bed which was presenting a bit of trouble due to a stripped screw and were successful!"

Moving questions, answered by experts

In Frisco, habits like packing fragile items without moisture barriers or using standard boxes instead of reinforced packing supplies can lead to damage, especially in neighborhoods like Phillips Creek Ranch where summer humidity is high. Moving during midday heat or neglecting to reserve loading zones in busy communities may expose belongings to unnecessary stress and delay, increasing the risk of wear and tear during the move.

Helpful?

As homes in Frisco age, moving work transitions from simple, technology-focused setups in newer neighborhoods to more complex moves involving family heirlooms and mature landscaping in established areas. Over time, downsizing becomes common, with special attention to antiques and accessibility needs. With Frisco’s ongoing growth, professional movers increasingly handle multi-generational and luxury moves, adapting to the city’s evolving housing landscape and resident needs.

Helpful?

The average moving project in Frisco for a 2-3 bedroom home typically takes 4-8 hours for local moves, but traffic near Stonebriar or construction zones can extend this. Moves to nearby cities may take 6-10 hours. Scheduling with professional movers outside of peak summer afternoons or school breaks can help avoid delays, as local events and busy streets often impact moving timelines in Frisco.

Helpful?

New homeowners in Frisco should prioritize updating security systems, transferring utilities, and checking HVAC performance before the Texas heat arrives. Registering with the local HOA and setting up city trash collection are essential, especially in master-planned communities. Arrange for pool or lawn service if applicable, and reprogram irrigation timers to match Frisco’s watering schedules. Changing locks and updating address records are also smart first-week steps.

Helpful?

For moving projects in Frisco, opt for double-wall corrugated boxes and heavy-duty packing tape to handle local weather shifts. Use climate-controlled storage containers for electronics, and moisture absorbers for items stored in attics or garages. Professional movers recommend moving blankets and stretch wrap to protect furniture, especially in areas like The Trails where wind gusts are common. Quality packing supplies help safeguard valuables throughout the process.
