Warning to Angi and it's Users, This was the second time I used Carpet Diem Moving. I hoped for excellent service last July when I moved from an apartment to home 30 min away in Dallas, TX. When they moved the last item yàç hey asked me to compliment them on social media before they left. I looked at the move closer after that. As a result of giving such large tips, I felt duped by the movers and company. They broke one of the dining room chairs while in the apartment. I heard something creak or break. I asked out loud if everything was okay, to which the team leader (the only one who spoke English) said, "it's all okay" to me. Since I trusted them, I didn't look at the time. It was discovered after they left my new home. I asked for money to get the chair fixed, but the company refused to accommodate me in any way. Shortly after the move, I discovered several other broken and missing items. Broken was the aforementioned chair; a very large outdoor planter holding my 30 year old Sago Palm. They put new, deep dents in the wood of my buffet and bar. Lost, or somehow didn't make the 30 min drive from my old yo place, were my Vitamix Blender, the cord to my sound system, and the cord to my Life Fitness Stair Stepper exercise machine. It was once again a game of phone tag with the company that failed to deliver an appropriate response. My chair was never repaired, costing me hundreds when I sold the dining room set. I have not replaced the Vitamix blender, which costs $300-$500. My Sago Palm continues to slowly die since I planted it rather than buy another expensive, large pot. Finally, I still have not used my powerless stair stepper. I strongly urge Angi to stop representing the Carpe Diem Moving Company in Dallas, TX. Melody Vincent

Carmen at the office is on her game with excellent follow up and follow through. When Hyro’s team showed up (on time) they were ready to go. They completed the job at a blazing-fast rate. Since movers charge by the hour, that was impressive. Professional, courteous, thoughtful, hardworking, and safe; those are their best traits. Excellent job!
