Always Ready Lawn Care (ARLC LLC) is a Veteran Owned and Operated company with a diverse portfolio of services offered to residential and commercial customers in Houston and surrounding areas.

"ARLC LLC - Chris, the owner of ARLC LLC (Always Ready Lawn Care) is wonderful to work with. He presented himself in a very professional fashion when he came to quote on Spring clean-up and weekly lawn care. When the crew who came out for the Spring clean-up and first mowing did not meet the standards Chris and I agreed to, he was out within a couple of days to tend to the yard himself. We could not be happier with the work that has been done."

Secondly at Precise Landscapes & Irrigation we are passionately devoted to what we do our hard work and dedication has helped in expanding our business. The motivating factor in providing landscaping and irrigation services is that we love when a client is pleased with the work we have provided because without clients there would not be a business. Which is why we emphasize our hard work, dedication, and close attention to detail is what sets us apart from other companies. It has taken years and years of hard work, struggle, and experience to get to where we are now, but it has well been worth it. We love and enjoy doing what we do. Mulch and Topsoil questions, answered by experts

Since the nature of the landscaping project can heavily influence the overall cost, it helps to understand what different types of landscaping projects cost on average. For example:

  • Plant a tree: $100–$2,000

  • Build a retaining wall: $3,250–$9,200

  • Reseed a lawn: $450–$1,700

  • Install a water fountain: $950–$4,800

  • Install a paver patio: $2,400–$7,000

  • Install a concrete walkway: $1,200–$2,400

  • Install a flower bed: $800–$3,000

  • Landscape lighting: $2,000–$6,000

You should add 1 to 4 inches of mulch, depending on your garden type and needs. Keep in mind that no amount of mulch can completely prevent weeds, but a heavier coverage (closer to 4 inches) can suppress weeds enough that you are only seeing them sprout every few weeks. Finer mulch prevents weeds more effectively than large mulch, so if you’re using mulched leaves or shredded bark, 1 to 2 inches will likely suffice, while 3 to 4 inches is best for larger mulch, like bark chips or straw.

Pea gravel is hands down a top pick for managing landscape drainage.  These small stones allow water to flow through easily by creating natural gaps that promote runoff. Beyond functionality, pea gravel also offers visual versatility. Homeowners will find a range of earthy tones like gray, brown, blue, and even red, making it easy to match with different outdoor styles and plantings.

Yes, rubber mulch allows water to seep through and reach the soil underneath. Rubber mulch is not as absorbent as organic mulch, which allows the soil underneath to stay moist and hydrated. Keep in mind that the permeability of rubber mulch can get clogged by landscape fabric and other additional materials.

Yes, you can lay pea gravel directly on the dirt. First, dig a trench 2 to 6 inches deep the length and width of the area you want to cover. Plants and weeds will eventually grow through the pea gravel if you don’t lay down landscaping cloth.
