"Mark was on time and came prepared to work! He mulched our entire front yard and took care in doing it. He kept everything neat through the process and respected the plants that he had to work around. Our palmetto tree was in bad shape and needed trimming. He made it look beautiful again. He worked most of the day and returned bright and early the next day to finish up. He also cut the grass in our backyard and edged. He was mannerly and the most important thing he was not in a hurry to finish. He was more interested in doing a good job. We plan on Mark coming back in September or October to replace rotten wood on our deck."

After Stephanie and I contacted Abe for a quote, it was apparent that he understood the scope of our project, and the challenges that he and his company would face, nevertheless, Abe was on our property in a quick manner to size up the job and was attentive to our vision, and directly put his knowledge and years of experience to work in making wise suggestions, and out of the box thinking. We had other quotes that were lower, (Austin Deck we not the highest), but in the end, we felt that the wide-ranging choice of deck materials that Abe could offer, (when other contractors only had a few choices), as well as the amount of detail that went into the site visit, quotation and care of the client, made it clear that Abe and his company were the right choice. We could not risk a project like this on unknown and unproven contractors. Abe provided multiple renderings and detailed information on our two-level deck build. We had multiple changes thought the design process and even in active construction, nevertheless Abe and his team were able to accommodate all changes. The deck build was very challenging as the location of the deck build was perched on massively sloped land that is cliff based overlooking the Lake Travis (Main Basin). Abe and his large crew showed up as expected on the first day, and Abe walked his crew through the design and construction elements of the job. The crew had the old deck demolished and the land prepared in 1 day. The crew had to mix more than 2 pallets of bagged concrete just for the 20 concrete footings that they had to lay into the even and uneven land. Multiple hours were spent with a jackhammer to get deep enough into the bedrock to ensure the job was done properly, but the crew handled it with ease. Abe and his team were extremely efficient and professional. The quality of the finished product far exceeded our expectations. The job was complete in 5 days! Stephanie and I can't thank Abe, his crew and Jennifer in the office enough for the wonderful job they did on our deck and the fabulous customer service that they provided. There is no doubt that we recommend Austin Deck Company to anyone looking for the best company to build a master planned, quality deck and decking services!"

"This was the third time we've used Rudy. He was prompt and professional. I cut out a 2'x3' piece of sheetrock to install bracing for a TV wall mount. Rudy remounted the sheetrock I removed, taped and floated the joints then he retextured the area to match the original. It's difficult to match the existing drag texture but Rudy did a great job. Unless you know what to look for and where, you would never know the wall was repaired. We also had him come back to paint the repaired wall. For both jobs, he protected surrounding areas and was meticulous about his quality even to the point of retouching an area that I thought was fine but it didn't meet his standards. We will hire Rudy again for the next paint/sheetrock job."
