Tecton Stoneworks is a division of Utter Construction Company which has been in business since 1995. UCC-Tecton offers diverse expertise, installing all types of masonry materials including: brick, pavers, concrete block, stone, glass block, cultured stone, cast stone and thin stone veneer. Over the past ten years, our clients have requested the use of stone more often than any other masonry material. Because of the growing demand, this new division of UCC is being formed, to more accurately meet the needs of our clientele. Aaron Utter, owner of UCC, is a third-generation stone and brick mason. He learned masonry under the guidance of his father, Loyall Utter, who learned from Aaron's grandfather, J. L. Vandergriff. Honesty and integrity are the foundation of UCC and Tecton Stoneworks. "Green Stone Landscaping was a pleasure to work with. Mr. G came out to discuss the scope of work. He listened to what we wanted and made some suggestions. He provided a reasonable estimate, set a start date and gave us an estimate of how long the work would take. On the scheduled start he had a full crew at our house. They replaced our sidewalk and sloped it so we would no longer need a ramp at the front door. They built a beautiful boarder around our garden, added dirt around our foundation and filled the garden with Sandy loam so it’s ready for planting. They repaired our gate better than brand new. All of the work was finished within the estimated timeframe. Green Stone went above and beyond and the results were better than we imagined. We will be doing more landscaping in the Spring and will definitely have Green Stone do that work as well."
