"I was considering 3 companies to do the work. They provided the best deal. The installation went very smoothly; finished in a day. Very happy with the process to that point. Had some problems with some logistics afterward. The papers weren't processed properly to iniitally run the solar panels (it took 2 months till we figured out the electric company hadn't 'turned on' the panels). There was also some problems with the paperwork for the tax rebates that slowed things down. I talked to the owner Mark, who was very sorry for the problems and offered a small refund, even though we don't really know what happened. He wanted to be sure I was a happy customer, which I am. I was impressed by his professionalism. However, I'm still not seeing the savings that I was told. I've had my house energy audited, installed Nest thermostats, and still not seeing a major decrease in my KWh usage. I can only assume that we are having a hotter season than last year; hoping to realize savings next year.

"Both units stopped cooling almost at the same time.  Both were 12 years old.  Prompt response from A1 to call for service.  Determined that both units were out of freon and the cost to put freon in both units was very expensive.  Service rep went over the cost of replacing both units and explained the entire procedure for replacing with energy efficient units.  Also arranged financing as well.  Guarantee that a/c would be up and running the same day.  Crews arrived around 2 pm starting the installation of the new untils outside as well as the systems in the attic.  Finishing the job around 10 that night.   One crew installed the entire system for upstairs unit and another crew installed the entire system for downstairs unit.  Job required additional air returns. Which the crew took care of.    Next morning I noticed that one of the air returns had the ceiling opening cut too large and the grill was falling off.  A call to A1 who sent techs back and were unable to repair the damaged ceiling.  But sprayed the inside of the return with black paint which got on ceiling.  Another call to A! and techs came back taking photos.  I was contacted by A1 who was sending another person out to repair the ceiling, adding a grill that fit and paint the ceiling.  Took about a week to get the damage repaired.  Just had my year inspection by A1 and everything is working perfectly.   Overall very pleased with the response from A1.

"It turned out okay. They walked around and told where the house could use some help with heat leaking, the home energy audit. They had some recommendations for some things that we went ahead and did. The price was fine. They had some good recommendations to decrease the energy loss in the house and reduce our energy bill. There was about 30% savings in the energy bill."
