Did a great job.  Quick, professional, quality service and good price.  Would recommend and would use again.

Clean installation.  Unit is working great

OK. Did his job and was pleasant but I couldn't help feeling that a) the feedback wasn't helpful and b) I had just paid someone $80 for a sales pitch on home addons.

Very professional

He tried to sell me some kind of insulation under the roof. He charged me extra for additional work not listed in the plan. He didn't give me any proof that the roof was fixed. I wouldn't use him for roofing anyway.

It was fine. They did a pretty good job. It was a good experience.

It turned out okay. They walked around and told where the house could use some help with heat leaking, the home energy audit. They had some recommendations for some things that we went ahead and did. The price was fine. They had some good recommendations to decrease the energy loss in the house and reduce our energy bill. There was about 30% savings in the energy bill.

Delivered as expected.

1. I purchased on impulse July, 2011 and was never contacted.

2. I forgot about the purchase until Angie's List jogged my memory with a request for a rating 11/25/2013.

3. I called HPC and David ([email protected]) apologized for dropping the ball and agreed to honor the purchase.

4. David arrive at 9:30am, Wednesday 12/4/2013 and performed the service.

5. The service was verbal. I had expected a formal report.

6. He promised a written report which never arrived. 

It turned out good. They arrived on time and the price was as advertised. I would recommend them. It's working good. It was good. What it was was what I paid.

I spoke to the service provider and I feel like he didn't really want to do the job. He said there was not enough work for him. He did came out when he said he would.

I bought this as an Angie's List deal. The deal couldn't be applied by itself, since the amount of square feet of radiant barrier was not sufficient as per the terms of the deal. I knew that going in and was fine with it. So the guy negotiated with me to get a larger package of insulation (which I wanted) and the other work (which I was less sure I wanted but got talked into).
In the end, I feel like I got just exactly my money's worth for $2000. And that's fine, but not a great Deal, which is what I had signed up for through the list -- hence the B for price. I wouldn't have gotten all of those services at that price if I could get them a la carte.
I didn't like the amoung of upselling he did, which is why I give them a B for professionalism. I was in a bad position because I had pre-paid for the work using the deal, and that cost me some money in the end.
Once the work started, though, everything went smoothly. It's been a while, so I don't remember the details much, but I have no complaints and the work seems to have stood up over a few years since then.
I didn't live in the house long before the work was done, so I can't compare energy savings. But my bills aren't outrageous in any case.

It went well.

I purchased a big deal coupon for this company.  The install went fine.  They had a phone mess up in their schedule so they were three or four days late, but they apologized and they were sorry.  Other than that the install went good.  When they finally told me that they were going to show up, I talked to the guy on the phone, they did show up on time an they did a good job installing.

Numerous appointments and cancellations by the vendor. I was home from work on 3 days when nobody showed up. Many excuses like "fan was ordered, but it did not come in as it was suppose to", "we showed next week as the appointment", "we think it is going to rain today" (no rain in forecast and sunny all day), "Costco bought all the fans so the vendor had none left for us", etc.
When they finally installed the fan after 3 months of delays, they installed it over my attic and not the garage. 
To give credit to the vendor for their effort at customer service, when they finally installed the fan over the garage, they left me the fan installed over the attic at no charge.
I am sure there is a good explanation for all of the issues I had. It might be they have personnel issues, my job was too small for them given the distance their employees needed to travel, or product delays.

I had no problems with them. They got the job done in about 30 minutes. It is really easy to get into the attic. They sent on person out to do the job and I had no problems with the scheduling.

Everything went well.

It hasn't gone anywhere due to no followup by the vendor.

I first signed up for the big deal $399 solar attic fan. I. Was a bit concerned that this size would not be large enough to do much good. HPC checked my property out, and we opted for a more powerful unit. They came as promised, on time, and even called me when they were on their way. They gave me a nice discount on the bigger fan.

After they finished, I asked them about the radiant shield of my attic, he explained the benefits of the application, and gave me a price quote based on my square footage. As I had just moved in I had things piled up in front of the attic access. They said they would move the boxes, no problem.

When they came back, I had cleared a space (inspired by how nice and professional they were), and they got to work. I noticed the insulation machine in their truck, and asked them to check mine while they were up there. Turns out I did need more to bring it up to standard. They had just finished a job prior to mine, and were out of materials. Instead of making me wait, they went to the supply store and were able to install the instillation that very day.

On every job, they gave me a very great price. I am a careful shopper, and looked around before using Home Performance Concepts. I am so glad I did! Awesome service and super prices!

HPC did what they said they were going to do, when they said they would. Hard working, neat, cleaned up after the projects. I will use them again and recommend them to friends.
