"The gentleman who provided the service for my driveway was Keith. He came all the way out from Ft Worth to Van Alstyne ( over an one hour drive) to discuss my situation. I had a dirt driveway that was not level and would retain water after a good rain. Keith was able to build the driveway up and level it. The finished product looks great. "First off, Complete Tree Service got right back to me to set up an estimate. I left a message on Sunday, they called me back Monday by 8:30 AM. Setting up the estimate appointment took a couple of back-and-forths. At each stage an expectation of how long it would take to get back to me was set and met. I like that.
The estimate was done two days later on Wednesday and Carlos said they could do the job starting Thursday--as in, the next day, Thursday. The price was a little higher than other bids, but the timeliness of Carlos' bid as well as his assurance that they would clear everything away tipped the scales.
Carlos said the crew would be there by 10 AM; Mario and the boys showed up at 9:45 AM and got to work. I was impressed by how the crew worked. They were safe, careful, and considerate. It was big trucks, ropes, chainsaws, and heavy equipment in my backyard and it all went smoothly. At the end of the first day, the bigger tree was down and serious inroads had been made on the smaller. The little tree that had been growing next to the bigger tree had been successfully preserved and the mercury lamp fixture that had been attached to the bigger tree had been safely removed.
Day two the utility locator lady showed up before the crew and marked the utilities. The crew showed up at 10 AM and by 3:30 PM my yard was free of two dead trees, my yard and driveway were clean, the power lines were unencumbered, and I was pleased.
