Hi, my name is Jasmine Gonzalez.\n\nI wanted to reach out and introduce our cleaning business, The Kleen Sisters Cleaning Services. My sister and I recently started the business in January and we'd love the opportunity to provide cleaning services for your properties.\nWe do offer different cleaning bundles.\nI'd love to really show you my work instead of talking about it. I'm consistent and would love the opportunity to continue to grow and leave your house or property knowing I satisfied all your housekeeping needs.\nThank in advance for this opportunity.

"Install went great, not only did this company have the best prices but the owner himself was very involved. He explained and educated me on the most efficient unit for my needs. I’ve already noticed a difference in my electricity usage. I would highly recommend this company for any and all your ac needs."

"They were great. I hired them to remove old insulation and install new insulation. They discovered serious issues with my a/c duct work. They rearranged their schedule to come back and make repairs to the ducts. They were lifesavers."

"There are many things I like about Troyâ s Heat and Air LLC but the top three are: 1) Professional install, 2) Commitment keepers, and 3) Great value. I originally saw their ad on Facebook and felt compelled to give them a try even though I already had a local AC company. Troy and his team came out, fixed issues we had with the main unit for some time, and installed a new mini split. I had already had 3 different people come out but it wasnâ t until Troy and his team came out that the installation looked professional done and safe. Anyway, as we have been remodeling for the past 2+ years we have had lots of contractors out and I believe Troy was probably the only one that really kept his promises to us and completed the job they were hired to complete. Thank yâ all! Hopefully God will provide and I will be able to get the unit for the barn one day!"

Air Conditioning questions, answered by experts

AC capacitors have a wide lifespan, ranging from five to 20 years, with an average of about 10 years. Many capacitors will last for the entire life of the air conditioning unit, and most homeowners only need to replace one once. A capacitor should only be replaced if an HVAC professional diagnoses a problem with it. Premature failure can be caused by overheating, power surges, or short circuits. You can help extend the life of your AC capacitor by scheduling regular AC maintenance each year.

Dirty filters are almost always the cause of poor airflow, so they should be regularly cleaned and then replaced as needed. The fan blades can also get dirty, so they should be cleaned when the unit is turned off. Make sure that the outdoor area around the back of the unit is unobstructed. Trees, shrubs, trash, and other objects could be too close to your unit.

Yes, mini-split systems are generally less expensive to run than central air conditioners and are significantly more energy-efficient. Because mini-splits do not rely on ductwork, they avoid the energy loss associated with ducted systems, allowing cooled or heated air to reach its destination more efficiently. Additionally, they offer zoned control, meaning you can run units in individual rooms and turn them off in unoccupied areas. This capability can lead to energy savings of about 30% compared to a central air system, resulting in a lower monthly energy bill.

The average cost to replace or install a new HVAC system is around $7,500. However, the price can range from $5,000 to $12,500, depending on factors like the size of your home, the type and brand of the unit, and your specific heating and cooling needs. If you only need to replace certain components, the cost will be lower; for example, a new AC unit can cost between $2,200 and $5,500, while a new furnace costs $3,200 to $6,000. If additional work like new ductwork is required, the total cost could be as high as $22,000. It's best to contact a local HVAC company for an accurate quote.

It is normal for the attic to be hotter than the rest of the house in the summer, but only by about 10 or 20 degrees. Attics that aren’t properly insulated or ventilated can reach temperatures of 130 degrees or more which can cause damage to the home’s structure, including the roof, wood framing, and HVAC system.
