"Val the sales representative was prompt from the first point of contact to give quote to staying on top of the job during the course of the A/C installation. At the end a walkthrough was performed and final finish detail's were rapped up to satisfaction. If I may added installed a two zone system."

"Sometime in August, my old Master cool died; I called around looking for someone who could do the job and finance it, since I was very short on cash. I called several companies listed here, and the prices ranged from $1200 to $2400 for the small (4500 CFM) unit When I called Bruce, he told me he was on his way to Chaparral,NM, But that he would stop by and check it. After he inspected it, he told me that it needed to be replaced.I asked if he financed and he said no, only refrigeration jobs. I told him that I was strapped for money, and wanted to know how much he'll charge just for the installation. I was going to get an Arctic Cool on credit and wanted him to install it. He told me: "Buddy, I have a used Master Cool, the same size as yours, it's used but in good condition. Can you do $700?, I'll install it and guarantee that you'll have no problems" I agree to the price and then he asked me how I cooled my Master bedroom.(a garage conversion). I told him that I only had that one unit to the whole house. He said "There's no way that your bedroom is cool! If you can do $800, I'll get you a 6500 CFM unit. You'll be getting cold with that one." I got the bigger cooler, but about a month later the motor stopped working; I bought a new one but I was unable to install it. I called Bruce, explained to him what happened and the following day he sent his crew to fix it. It turned out that they needed a new pulley and a new V-belt. When my wife asked how much was owed, they said it's nothing. The first time I met Bruce, and told him how much other people were charging; he told me: "Buddy, there's people making a killing in this business, I like to make a living. We are here to help and look after each other, and that's what I do." This man is a walking blessing to those who have had the opportunity to meet him. I will always recommend him to anyone. May the Divine continue to bless you and all of yours Bruce Chavez."

Install Boiler questions, answered by experts

Professionals can recommend efficient layouts or appliances and ensuring regulatory compliance.

The absence of heating or hot water, unusual noises like banging or gurgling, and visible water leakage are key signs. Abnormal boiler pressure, flame irregularities (for gas boilers), or pilot light issues may also signal trouble. Frequent cycling, soot or staining, and unusual odors, particularly gas-like smells, should not be ignored. Modern boilers often display error codes or lockout mode upon detecting issues. Uneven heating across radiators and rising energy bills without increased usage can further point to problems. Prompt attention to these signs is essential to prevent further damage and ensure safety.

Most home boilers will need an expansion tank. That’s because these boilers are closed-loop systems, where the water is trapped. An expansion tank is needed when the boiler heats the water and it expands, allowing air to condense in the tank to make room for the water. Other types of boilers don’t use an expansion tank, such as traditional steam boilers, but these aren’t as common. And hot water tanks may be able to use a pressure release valve instead. When in doubt, call in a pro to take a look.

You can use a boiler and a furnace, although it’s not common to use both for whole-house heating. For example, your furnace may take care of HVAC heating through your vents, while a boiler powers your floor-based radiant heating in the bathrooms. Mixing and matching like this gives homeowners a variety of heating possibilities.

Installing a boiler requires training, a specific skill set, and extensive experience. Boiler installation can be extremely dangerous, as it involves working with water lines, gas lines, and electricity. For this reason, it’s strongly recommended that you hire a professional to install your boiler. Some states even consider it illegal to work on a boiler without the proper licensing.
