"I read the good reviews and decided to use White Lion. Expectations were high and remarkably, they were exceeded. Everything was great...the prep work, the quality of paint, the quality of the painters, the drywall fixes, the edges, the clean-up, the crew, the stain to match my existing cabinets, the communication, etc. Job well done!"

"The job done was fair and reasonable. What made the job really acceptable for us in the end was the result of one worker on the team and his high skill level at painting edges and finishing lines where they needed to be--he was really exceptional. The problem was he had to redo or go over the line/edge work some of the other team members had done and was found poor quality."

"All the work done by Jaye Stark and his crews was excellent. In spite of the local heavy rains and flooding in May, he completed the work close to on time. Most important, where the heavy rains resulted in damage to some of the work he performed, Jaye came out quickly to repair the damage. I recommend him to anyone needed masonry work."

"Cane and his crew were fantastic! They showed up, worked long long hours to get the job done, and left me with a sharp looking new bathroom.  Cane was meticulous about getting things right, even tearing out already laid tile and re-doing the job a few times when he noticed small flaws. He has been incredibly responsive, has listened carefully to what I wanted, offered some great suggestions, and worked hard to help me get the most out of my budget. I have more repair work to do in the house after the plumbers and I'm going to have Dream Renovationz repair the rest of the floors and drywall.

"Had a water main overflow from washing machine, which flooded my utility room, kitchen, dining room and several other areas throughout.  The same night it happened they responded within an hour of my call and setup the wall dryout by the next day.  They helped me work with the insurance company to get the right info to them and get serviced properly by my insurance company.  After dry out was complete, they also were the restoration company that remodeled my house .  They not only restored my floors, cabinets, trim, and walls, but they went the extra mile to make sure I was serviced on my busy schedule.  They were timely, professional, honest and worked during the thanksgiving break time.  In the end, the insurance company paid out 18k for everything and Dryquick went over and beyond to restore my peace of mind and made my home better than it was before.  As a contractor myself, I honestly must say that I was beyond satisfied and  have already been referring their services to my co-workers.

"He was excellent.  He came out and did the work in one day.  He was very prompt with the estimate and with completing the work. He stayed spot on with the price.  He cleaned up extremely well after completing the work, he even cleaned up the tarp and rocks I had used to cover the hole prior to the repair."

Drywall questions, answered by experts

Water-damaged drywall should almost always be replaced. Not only does it look bad, it’s a breeding ground for toxic mold. Even if you think the area is dry and there’s no active leak, the only way to be sure is to cut out the damaged area and see for yourself.

A jigsaw is commonly used to cut holes in drywall. It offers versatility and precision, making it suitable for creating circular or irregular openings. When equipped with the right blade, a jigsaw can swiftly and cleanly cut through drywall, making it a good choice for DIY projects.

Yes, it matters which side of drywall you use. One side is smooth, and the other is rough. The smooth side should be facing outward, toward the room, while the rough side should be hidden and facing the studs and framing of the house. The smooth side will be easier to apply tape, joint compound, and, later, paint to.

It doesn’t matter which way you lay drywall, and you can choose to install it horizontally or vertically depending on the size of the wall and how tall the ceiling is. It’s easier to lay drywall sheets vertically if you have a taller ceiling, but laying sheets horizontally makes it easier to apply joint compound.

It’s always better to follow proven drywall repair tips and fix the seams that look bad. However, if you simply want to make them less noticeable until you have time to fix them, you can use paint. A darker color of paint makes bad drywall tape seams less noticeable than light-colored paint. Matte paint hides bad seams better than glossy paint does, too.
