Since then, in addition to replacing our fence, Jonathon has re-roofed our backyard gazebo (using shingles made from the damaged fence), repaired/painted our door and refurbished our deck. We have found Jonathan very easy to work with. He responds promptly, listens well and is helpful in giving us feedback on what should be done. He was able to finish each job within the timeline he provided. Jonathan is a good communicator and called to make sure we were satisfied with each job. Bill Roberts did the job, he and his brother Kevin had to come out twice just to do the estimate correctly and naturally it was higher than the original. Bill did the job and as I have heart problems and was not able to go out into the heat I paid him in full. When I realized that the work was not completed I began calling Bill on a fairly regular basis to come out and finish what he had bee

n paid for Bill has made several appointments and showed up once to finish, did not let me know he was leaving and when I went outside the work left was not completed. I called and called him, he apologized and kept giving me more dates that he never showed up for or called to reschedule.. I also had him take measurements to install a new countertop in my kitchen when I couldn't get an estimate he said he had given it to his brother and had not received an estimate as yet that was on 5/7/2015.

 by not completing his work or having the courtesy to return a call and cancel after he made an appointment. Very disappointing and I realize I have no recourse with the money we paid the company but I hope this review helps someone else looking for a contractor. By the way the spa gate is hanging up again Bill didn't even fix that properly now I have no idea about the rest of the work performed.

"I put a 12' x 33' concrete slab at the back of my house in preparation for a sunroom and then got visits and bids from several installers in the Austin area. In a previous house some years ago I had had a moderately unpleasant experience with a nationally known sunroom installer because of leaks and maintenance and, this time, made careful plans in advance. I considered a wood framed structure but the cost would have been 1.5 - 2.5 time more. I chose Lone Star Patio. They installed a beautiful aluminum sunroom over the slab (11 windows + a cabana door) with electrical outlets/fan/light. Peter Garcia, the owner, had a personal hand in almost everything that got done. He is easy to communicate with and responds promptly to texts, emails and phone calls. The person who manually did the installation, Sean, is a perfectionist (and also a really nice fellow). The electricians - subcontractors - were so good that I will call them myself if I need electrical work. Peter knows how to choose good workers. There were some significant delays but these were due to weather and matters beyond Lone Star Patio's control. There is a 5 year labor warranty from Lone Star Patio + longer materials warranties from Norandex (for the windows) and PGT (for the door). Overall, we are very happy with results and I trust the company to provide maintenance, if it's needed during the warranty periods."
