"I had some settling issues with my foundation, and Jacob from FSS did a thorough evaluation of the problem. I had already had six different companies come by, so I was getting familiar with the routine. What impressed me about the FSS solution was that they could actually stabilize the foundation, putting it on piers that would not shift in the future, unlike the other companies. When the installation crew arrived (Thomas, Timothy and Kennen), they brought along some really impressive galvanized steel hardware. The installation crew was clean and very meticulous about the details, making sure everything was installed correctly. After the foundation was stabilized and leveled, another crew came to do a polyfoam injection under the foundation to fill the air gap left by leveling the foundation. This way the entire foundation is supported, and not resting just on the edges. Overall, I was very pleased with the work. They were certainly not the cheapest, but then, you often get what you pay for."

"I made the appointment two days ago and was promised a time slot of today between 11am to 1pm, with a call before arrival.  At 1030 am I received the call and 15 minutes later, the plumber (Josh) and his assistant (they were coming from a major repiping job, hence there were two of them) arrived and began work. Josh's assistant began work on the hose bib while Josh evaluated the faucet repair.  
Josh informed me that I might be able to get Moen to provide free parts by mail, but I told him I'd prefer to have him go ahead and replace the part now.  Fortunately, he had the part on his truck and proceeded to disassemble the faucet, replace the damaged cartridge, and put everything back together.  Josh worked quickly but carefully, and the repair was done in about 30 minutes.
The best words to describe the encounter:  thoroughly professional.
At my request, Josh also gave me useful details on their piping replacement services.  I will be requesting an estimate from them for a complete replacement of our house's 30-year-old galvanized piping with PEX tubing.

"Rob and his team are truly amazing! They came in and efficiently installed a root block in our backyard on a Thursday. The following Tuesday they returned and installed a drainage system for our backyard with three catch basins and run off into the street. In the front yard they cut the grass into sod pieces before digging the trench and when finished replaced the grass making it almost imperceptible that they had done the job. Rob is an encyclopedia of information about trees and landscaping and he is always willing to share what he knows. I highly, highly recommend hiring him and his team (some of whom have been with him 16 years) He is honest, knowledgeable, and very fairly priced!"

"Had Jose come by to get an estimate on getting the entire shower stall done. When he got here we talked about what we wanted done and he showed us pictures of samples of what it would most likely look like and he would get back with us on the estimate.. Then my wife and I started talking about how good it was going to look .We started looking around and decided why not go ahead and have the entire bathroom done to give it a fresh new look...contacted Jose to let him know that we wanted to expand the scope of the job......he gave us an second estimate for the added work and we went from there . "I was contacted by the dispatcher as scheduled and told that Michael was on his way and he arrived according to the appointment. I explained the project and showed him the sink, faucet and garbage disposal I had acquired and asked for his opinion. He suggested a different faucet which he could provide. He explained the basis of his recommendation. His price of $604 for the faucet, including installation and warrantee was more than I was willing to pay, although the quality may well have been worth it; I have no way of knowing.
I asked him to continue with an estimate using my supplied materials. As I indicated above, the total was more than I was expecting. Throughout, he was courteous and professional and did not try to pressure me into decisions I was not ready to make.

Took about 4-5 hours to correct a couple of doors, including taking one of the hinges, and installing new weatherstripping. Some doors were binding badly, they all work well now, with no daylight!"
