"DAV Construction was hired to replace a damaged roof and gutters. They did a professional job of discussing the bid with me. However, this was more than a roofing job. I had an issue with water seeping through my second floor brick that continued to damage my interior and patio cover. We all thought it was a poor trim installation. Alex took a hard core position of helping me correct the problem. We had to repair any openings in the existing brick and applied a water sealant. I even had a phone call several months later after a heavy rain storm to see if we had any visible leaks. All was good and the extra effort was was high on the scale of taking care of the customer. I would personally recommend Alex and his team to anyone."

"Mark arrived inspected the house and wrote something in a notebook then told me he would send me an estimate in a day or so. A week went by no estimate, no communication so I called him only for him to say he would get it to me that evening. I wait another 3 days and still no estimate. If this is how he communicates for just an estimate I can imagine how he would be on the job. A professional courtesy would've been just to say I cannot give you an estimate or am not willing to do the job either way I wouldve respected that instead of lying or stringing a potential customer along. I will not do business or recommend him to anyone."

"After reviewing Angie’s list, I was able to identify two (2) general contractors in my area. The first provided a general hourly quote over the phone and scheduled an appointment to provide me the number of hours required to complete the work. The second general contractor was Gulf Coast Master Craftsmen. Michael Mortensen (owner and master craftsman) contacted me regarding my request for a quote and scheduled a meeting based upon my schedule which was approximately 6:30 pm to accommodate my work schedule. When I arrived home, Michael was waiting for me and we proceeded to discuss the work that was needed in addition to discussing additional work that I wanted completed. Michael recommend coming back the following day with equipment to better inspect the entire house trim to identify rotted areas in order to provide an accurate quote. A detailed quote was provided by the end of the day with pictures of damaged/rotted trim. Once approval was provided, Michael started the project within a few days. Michael notified me when he arrived at my property to start work in addition to sending me pictures at the end of the day of work performed. The project was completed in 2 days and I was once again asked to meet Michael to conduct a walk-through of work that was completed to ensure my satisfaction. The house looks much brighter (amazing what new trim and paint can do!) and although I did not anticipate having to replace house/chimney trim – Michael was able to respond and complete the work quickly to avoid disruption. I am extremely detailed and expect high level of service from anyone I hire. The work performed was seamless - the work blended well and does not look patchy which was a concern seeing as how sections were replaced. Michael addressed some observations I made related to paint splatters and even though some were from the previous owners Michael went above and beyond and cleaned up the brick. Michael clearly takes pride in his work and we will be using Michael in the near future for additional projects!"

We did t  much choice Between the Contractor because we didn t have enough money to build our new House We needed to apply for a loan.  And not every contractor does help for loan approval...

"My wife and I are extremely happy with Roberto at Solid Stone Manufacturing. He spent a lot of time up front in the planning stage to make sure we made the proper selections to stay in our budget. Roberto was a delight to work with and I felt his recommendations were always in our best interest and not to hurry the job along. Roberto is very helpful and checks on the job frequently to ensure it is being done correctly. He keeps you well informed of the schedule of completion and when the contractors will arrive. Another thing we appreciated was Roberto doesn't have multiple jobs at once so as not to devote full attention as some contractors do. He sees your job through to completion with no hanging ends. Having a part of your home unusable is an inconvenience but having a job get half done is a nightmare. Go with someone who will see your job through to the end and on budget with minimal unknowns. "They offer excellent communication and went above and beyond to make sure things were taken care of. We initially had a scheduling problem due to the fact that they don't work on weekends and I work mon-fri, my bf wanted someone home while they worked, since we have dogs. So once time permitted they were on time and started work immediately. We had a long list of things to be done, including: Installing 3 indoor fixtures, 1 outdoor motion detector, 1 ceiling fan and 2 tv mounts (65 inch flat & 55 inch curved), we also had re-grouting and painting a bathroom on the list, but they ran out of time. Which was understandable, but they did excellent work We/I had one complaint, where I thought the wall mount in the bedroom didn't seem to be centered, once contacted they assured me that the tv mount allows me to move it to the left several inches to assist in centering, but they also offered to return if that didnt work. They're very thorough and well worth hiring. I included pictures of everything they did but didn't include the picture of the tv mount after I moved it.."
