"These guys are great. They do a great job but also go out of their way, chipping branches, cutting ip firewood and clearing everything that needs to be. Very happy with their service and would definitely recommend."

"All positive comments same as other commenters. I would add that he has a real feel for what the tree wants and how to bring out the best. I just wanted the live oaks trimmed, but he showed me what they needed and why, resulting in a much better and enduring end result."

"Cecil and his crew did an excellent job on trimming back tree limbs and removing an old dead tree. They even hauled off some old brush that had been up against the fence from a previous storm. Everyone was so polite and respectful and the cleanup was amazing afterwards. I would highly recommend Cecil Woodson and his company."

"Work included taking down 5 large pittosporum bushes and hauling off brush, adding 1' edging to front walk, creating new path (about 10' x 3'), and taking up and re-laying patio stones. They did a good job with everything and finished very quickly. We got 4 estimates; Gomez and one other had the lowest at $2,000."

Customers say: Quality work
"There was a slow start because Mason had to go buy the materials for the job. Then on the second day when he was working late the electricy went out and he could not continue welding. By the 3rd day he and his helper finished and did a get job of cleaning up and removing all the construction debris. Everything looked like they had not even been there. There was no damaged grass or landscaping destroyed in the process. Even the chickens were happy. They did a great job of keeping the gates closed on the 3rd day of construction and no chickens escaped.

"They came out the next day, replaced the pump and even cleaned up the wiring connections for the other equipment. Looking at them to update the decking around the pool now. Very impressed with the company's quality of work,"

Topsoil costs from $12 to $55 per cubic yard, depending on the type you choose. For example, screened black dirt will cost about $15 per cubic yard. Loam (soil composed of sand, silt, and clay) costs about $17 per cubic yard. Standard screened topsoil costs about $20 per cubic yard. The type of topsoil you need depends on your landscaping plans.
Landscapers typically charge $25 to $50 per person per hour, which equals around $50 to $100 per hour for a two-person crew. These rates can vary depending on your location, the size of staff needed for the job, and overall job type. For example, a larger crew will be needed for structural additions and hardscaping versus planting flowers.
When it comes to landscapers, licensing laws vary. Landscaping architects are required to be licensed in all 50 states, whereas traditional landscaping contractors are not typically required to hold a certification. You’ll likely be working with a landscaping contractor for most residential projects. If you are redesigning your whole yard or adding in hardscape features, you will work with a landscaping architect at some point during the project. Be sure to check our state licensing tool to review the local landscaper guidelines.

Mulch costs anywhere from $30 to $150 per cubic yard, depending on the type you choose. On the inexpensive end, red and black mulch are about $35 to $40 per cubic yard, and are typically made from recycled waste wood like shredded old pallets or deck material. Cedar, cypress, and rubber mulch cost anywhere from $100 to $120 per cubic yard. A pro can help you determine the type of mulch most suitable for your landscaping needs.
Yes, you will want to confirm that the tree removal company you hire is insured before proceeding with the job. Tree removal can be dangerous work, and it's important to verify that the company carries the proper insurance to cover any onsite accidents or damage.
