"The technicians called before arriving, were on time, neat and professional. They walked around the property with me as I explained what I wanted done, they listened to my questions and helped me make some decisions (like which outdoor light location to use of 2 available). They also provided suggestions about adding lighting to my kitchen and provided an estimate. The work was not done quickly (there was a trainee on the job), but I was confident that all work was overseen and completed correctly. I will be contacting them soon to add the lights to my kitchen."

"***UPDATES***
Jared, an owner at CountryScapes, recently go a hold of me to discuss the issues I experienced post installation. He was extremely professional, apologizing for the issues I experienced and stepped up to resolve them. He scheduled a time to come out and arrived on schedule, as promised. He inspected some of the problem areas I noticed, was very helpful in explaining what may have caused the problems to begin with and offered up some extremely helpful advice and guidance. Furthermore, he came back out to replace the bad sod and even had a lawncare company come out to fertilize and de-weed the lawn - at no costs to me. Awesome.

Jared's follow-up has restored my faith in the company and their services. I will be using them again for future projects. During our discussions, he owned up to their shortcomings and sincerely apologized, a rare occurence in my experience. He also took my feedback to heart, it seems, so hopefully they don't run into these issues again. Ultimately, the root cause of the service issues came down to communication. Brett's primary role is to manage installations and Jared is responsible for post-installation support. Had I known that before, this wouldn't have escalated my frustrations. These things happen - even to the best of us. They ultimately stepped up, resolved my problems professionally and cordially, so I'm more than satisfied.

***ORIGINAL***
The experience started off pretty well. For one, they actually responded to a request for an estimate by calling me back and scheduling a time to scope everything out. This was a big win to start with as I called 3 other service providers who failed to respond at all. I met with Brett who seemed very professional and knowledgeable. I have never received a quote for this work from any other service provider, so I can't say if the price was good or or not. It was lower than my expectations, so I was happy.

When it came time for the actual install, the irrigation work was done fairly quickly and professionally. After everything is said and done, the irrigation system actually works extremely well, so 5 stars for that part.

The installation of the sod was less impressive. For one, the sod was delivered a day late for some reason or another. Not a huge deal, just a little annoying. The actual install also seemed a little sloppy. In several areas, the gaps between the pieces of sod was significant, maybe an inch or more. I still see these gaps to this day. They also installed sod over the iron cover to the main water valves shared between my home and my neighbor's home. My neighbor had to cut away the sod to access the valves.
Post-installation service is where I'm most disappointed. It took about two days from installation until someone came out to show me how to run the sprinklers and what schedule I should follow. Luckily, I was able to figure out how to run the system manually so the new sod was watered properly. When Brett (manager/owner) showed up, he was nice enough to program the system for a 10-day schedule, for the new sod. However, he never told what schedule to follow after the sod was established. He also mentioned that they would do an inspection the following week, but never saw him again. I also noticed black spots in the sod, so I sent Brett a picture and called. Both times, he said he would come out to take look, again never showed, never heard from him again. I still have some odd looking spots of grass.

Ultimately, that post-installation experience has really soured the deal. I payed good money for the service and couldn't get these guys out to take a look at my concerns. I got zero-guidance in regards to maintenance, when to mow, etc. Their focus is getting installations done, collecting their checks and moving. My sprinkler system is warrantied for three-years, hopefully nothing goes wrong, but if it does, I hope their warranty service is more responsive. I'm not holding my breath."

"It went fantastic!!! After having the job bid by several other lighting companies, while their pricing was the cheapest nor the highest. They are definitely the most knowledgeable and very professional. Learning they are a family owned business, their attention to detail and design is phenomenal. They walked me through the entire process and educated me on what professional lighting truely is. I feel like I walk out to my own 5-Star resort every time I go to my backyard. The quality of the fixtures they installed are great and the are backed with a manufacturers warranty. Speaking of warranty and the level of customer service, my neighbor and friend had a system installed several years ago. He had a bulb go out, called Enhanced Outdoor Lighting since bulbs are warrantied as well, Dan was there within a couple of days to replace and handled the warranty replacement himself. Wow! Thanks for the amazing job and I highly recommend this company to anyone wanting any type of professional outdoor lighting done."

"I purchased a coupon for 2 hours of work. The response to schedule the work was slow and in the end I had to call a few times before we could actually schedule a time. Based on the other reviews, I expected to see two people come over and actually work for about 1 hour. This was not the case. One electrician showed up (on time!) and did what we asked him to in exactly 2 hours. My husband and I had to help him hold lamps and pull cables (which is not necessarily what I expect when I hire a professional) but it was not too bad. I have no complaints about the quality of work. I definitely had the impression that the electrician that did the work is very experienced and knowledgeable (certainly much better than other electricians I have unfortunately hired in the past!). I most definitely cannot say that customer care is as much of a strength, though. On the contrary, my impression was clearly that this person has been doing this job for a very, very long time (which is great for his experience) and is no longer willing to do things that he does not like (although that should be part of his job). For instance, one of the lights he installed was originally wired for 4 separate pendants but in the end we decided to only install 2 (instead of 4). So I asked him to get rid of 2 boxes that were already placed in the ceiling so that I could replace the drywall. He refused to do that saying that he would have had to dig in the insulation material in the attic to find where the boxes were; he was not willing to do that and I should just go to homedepot and buy a cover. Then, when he was finished with the light install I asked him about other work that we would like to do and his answer was invariably "yes it could probably be done" but it sounded a lot like "yes it could probably be done but I am not interested in doing it". So, would I hire Daleite again? Most definitely if I need to change a switch that is easily accessible or change a fixture. For jobs that are not immediately and easily accessible you may want to hire someone else. Also if you do hire Daleite, be prepared to clean up after the work is done.

Exterior Lighting questions, answered by experts

Flickering lights, intermittent outages, or physical damage to fixtures signal immediate repair to avoid electrical hazards.

Outdoor lighting repairs typically take between 1-3 hours. The exact duration can vary depending on factors such as the complexity of the problem, the extent of the damage, and the ease of access to the lighting fixtures and wiring.

While wet-rated and damp-rated lighting is designed to handle contact with moisture, there’s a difference between the two. Wet-rated lighting is safety-rated to be placed in areas with direct exposure to water, including your shower. Fixtures classed as wet-rated are made with waterproof seals to protect the filament and other electrical components from water and moisture.

Damp-rated fixtures can be used in places with some moisture contact, but not direct exposure. They don’t have the same waterproof seals used in wet-rated fixtures. Damp-rated lighting can be used on your bathroom ceiling or along a wall outside of your shower.

The cost to repair outdoor lighting typically ranges from $100 to $400. The final price depends on the severity of the damage, the specific issue, the type of lighting system, and the parts needed. Some repairs are priced per fixture, averaging $100 to $300, and there may be additional fees if the lighting is difficult to access.

Costs depend on system type, issue severity, and labor rates.
