"They were upfront with the cost, offered other options and allowed me to make right choice for my situation. The marketing was not too aggressive like other companies who only want to work if customer agrees to buy “upsell” products and services."

"These gentlemen worked tirelessly to clean my tile floor, re-color the grout, and seal the grout--which was never done before. These 2 men were great, and I would recommend them!"

"Exceptional housecleaning, these ladies were able to clean my husbands bathtub like no one has ever been able to. It had shower crud and mildew and was gross.  They cleaned all windows inside and the baseboards, and kitchen was spotless,  This was a win for me, and I would certainly use them and recommend their services.

"*Update*:
I originally gave the Home Keepers an overall grade of "B", which I think is pretty good, but they wanted to do better! They contacted me and offered to let them "fix their mistake" for free. They came back and did a great job! The tub and kitchen sink were AMAZINGLY clean. Those two fixtures have had stains in them since we moved in that we had never been able to scrub out, but somehow they got them bright white. My original "complaint" was about inconsistent dusting (and in all fairness, we had a lot of dust), but they focused on wiping just about everything down. Even though they did a good job the first time, they wanted my experience with them to be great, and I think that's a wonderful quality for a business to have.

Original post regarding service on 12.9.13:
They did a pretty good job, but I would have expected a bit more thorough of a job considering the original price and the description of "deep cleaning". Our house is small, only 5 rooms, and old, so it accumulates a lot of dust. The women did a great job on what they did clean, but I expected shelves, pictures, knicknacks, etc. to be wiped down rather than just quickly brushed over with a feather duster. The bathroom, kitchen, and floors were quite clean, but like I said, I expected a bit more given the price. Our house was not especially grimy- our main problem is dust. The square footage of our house works out to be about 110 s.f. per hour of cleaning. Maybe I'm just expecting too much, but I would think an hour to clean 110 s.f. would be plenty of time to mop and wipe down all the exposed surfaces. The women showed up right on time and were dry professional. Overall I was pretty happy with the job and give them a "B"."

"The cost was part of the insurance settlement on the move. Their responsiveness took a while. They repaired the couch that you would not know that there was any damage at all. There was only one worker and it was the owner. He was good. He was fine."

Couch Cleaning Services questions, answered by experts

Putting an air filter in backward can reduce airflow, which means your air conditioner has to work harder, putting a strain on your HVAC system. This can result in higher energy bills, premature repair, or even system replacement. Always check the manufacturer's guidelines to identify what is the front and back of the filter.

Regular filter changes, professional servicing, and checking for airflow blockages improve performance and longevity.

HVAC pros recommend that you replace your AC filter every one to three months to maintain optimal indoor air quality and ensure your HVAC system operates efficiently. However, factors such as filter type, household size, and environmental conditions may influence the frequency of replacement. Regular filter changes help prevent debris buildup, maintain airflow, and prolong the life span of your air conditioning unit.

Avoiding regular HVAC maintenance can lead to significant problems and higher costs over time. Without proper care, your system has to work harder, resulting in increased wear and tear, reduced performance, and more frequent breakdowns. This inefficiency leads to higher energy bills as the system consumes more energy to heat or cool your home.

Key components like condensate lines, evaporator coils, and motors require regular cleaning and lubrication to function correctly. Neglecting these tasks can lead to critical problems and costly repairs. Over time, unattended issues can cause permanent damage, potentially requiring you to replace the entire unit much sooner than expected. Additionally, skipping maintenance can negatively impact your indoor air quality.

Always turn off the power to your HVAC system before you remove the front cover to replace the air filter. If there isn’t an off switch, turn it off at the circuit breaker box. This prevents the risk of electric shock and stops unfiltered air from passing through the ductwork while the thermostat is running.
