"I can not say enough positive about Chris and Chuck and O 2 KOOL!! Chuck came out in early January to look at my old Trane gas furnace .. he got it going with no trouble. Now today ... during our ice/snow armageddon it went out again. I called and Chris FaceTimed with me .. looked at what was up and talked me through how to relight the system myself. Good news .. I now have heat! I strongly recommend them to anyone who needs help with their heating and cooling system! "This experience has been a nightmare of frustration. Gilbert from G&I Appliance Repair contacted me on 4/20 about repairing our refrigerator. I explained to him the refrigerator is slightly cool but not cold enough, and the freezer just cold enough to keep ice from fully melting, but will not freeze anything solid. He advised it was a compressor problem without going to my home to do a diagnostic look over. I told him I had tested the fans and the compressor, and they were working. The problem was they were not blowing cold. He insisted it was a compressor problem, and advised me he was an expert and to trust him. He came to my home on 5/1 and replaced the compressor, said it was fixed but it would take a few hours to cool. He charged me $603 and left. I messaged him that same night and told him the refrigerator was still not working. He came back the next day and worked on it, told me it was now working but to wait another 24 hours for it to start cooling again. I once again brought up the fact that the old compressor was working fine and it appears he fixed something that was not broken, and the actual problem is something besides the compressor. He assured me it was the compressor, that he had fixed it and it was now working. On 5/2 the refrigerator was still not cooling effectively and was functioning exactly as it had been when I initially requested a repair. The freezer would not freeze all the way and refrigerator would hardly cool. I called Gilbert and told him neither the freezer or fridge were cold enough, and he asked if I had used a thermometer to gauge the temperature. When I told him “no,” he questioned how I could possibly know it was not cold enough. The curdled milk and fruit flies flying around it are a strong signal that it isn’t cold. Even still, I don’t need to know exactly how much someone weighs to tell of if they are fat. Gilbert offered to come back out and diagnose the problem, but I had already paid $603 dollars for a needless compressor repair. Gilbert now thinks the actual problem might be with the 3-way valve, but he is not certain and he wanted to come back to my house. I asked him why he replaced a fully-functioning compressor if the problem was elsewhere, for which he cannot provide an answer. I told him I wanted a refund, and even went so far as to pay him for a diagnostic fee, which is generous considering he never came out to diagnose the problem in the first place, and he still does not know why it is not cooling. Gilbert suggested I was trying to scam him and was lying about the refrigerator not working just so I could get a refund. He refuses to refund me. I’ve used Angi for several repair needs, and this is the first one with whom I’ve had a bad experience. It’s been awful to say the least. Pathetic, to say the most."

"This was amazing! I had no idea this service existed. After searching and contacting various repair places for my washer, this was the most cost effective option. I figured if it didn't work, my machine is old and I would be out $40, not the $100+ to have a tech come out and just diagnose the problem. I am pretty handy and my washer is old anyway, so if it is broken, I have to get a new one anyway. My tech, Steve, was great! He predicted what was wrong after listening to the machine, calmly walked me through dismantling the machine and when we got down to the motor, he was right! He sent me a link to the part I would need, and let me know to contact them again if I needed help installing it. My machine works even better than before it broke, its beautifully quiet and efficient. I will definitely be saving this company for any future repairs on appliances I may need. The service was $40 + the part cost, which was about $8."

"Consumer Beware On 2 October 2024, I had a water pipe break in my wall at the rear of the house. I called Goettl Plumbing. They were able to come within the hour. When the Plumber came, he said that he had to cut through the wall to fix pipe, which he did. I was talking about my decision to purchase a new hot water heater, pressure gauge and saltwater unit on the phone with individual from accounting and Rudy the plumber. While on the phone, three maybe four men came into the house and Rudy was telling where the wall needed to be cut out and insulations removed. I asked both men, Rudy and accounting man on phone with me, both told me they were contractors that they use to work on walls and such. I asked them if they were going to be included in my bill for over $12,000. Both men gave me the answer of yes. Towards the end of the afternoon, Goettl employees came to install all new units for me. Then I had a member of QD Restoration, LLC come to my door to check on the dehumidify. Now let me give you some bullet points for the rest of my experience. Men that put in the hot water heater put an extension cord on equipment and I failed the Schertz inspection. Seems that using extension cord became obsolete six years ago. So Goettl employees had to come back next day to fix errors. I had to wait four and a half hours for them to come even when I was told that they would be there within an hour. When I was told that the bill from QD Restoration LLC was separate from plumping bill. I was upset about Goettl lying to me. When QD Restoration called to discuss the invoice. I was told that I would be charged for TOXIC water removal. I had to clarify that it was not. Then I was told that I would be charged time and a half for member needing to come after five. I let them know that I was never given an option for a different company to come, and my house was in no way an emergency for him to come after five. They never called to schedule anything. They just showed up, QD Restoration called me to see if there was a way to get the insurance company to pay more of my deductible. Today I finally got an invoice to pay which was over $2,000. The insurance representative told me that plumbing companies make agreements to refer their companies and when that happens plumbing company gets funds from that company."
