"Shortly after starting the draining process, a relief pipe burst in the attic of my 3 story town home. The installer was sitting in his truck and when I realized that water was spewing out of my Home Director box, I ran down 3 stories to get him. He finally got the water stopped and the rest of the installation went smoothly. I had to get a restoration company (recommended by Budget) to pull out the wet insulation, drill holes in the ceiling, spray anti-mold, and put fans on the wet areas. I still need to get a painter to patch the holes and repaint. Brett (the owner) offered to pay half of the cost of the water damage because they believe the damage was the fault of the homebuilder, but concede their guy should have been more attentive. I think like a lot of companies, one's experience can vary based on who comes to the house. This guy was young and had family problems. The company stood behind their work.

UPDATE (2014): I've just replaced these water heaters because the installation was poorly done and they rusted. Also found out that gas water heaters must be inspected in my city and this company failed to arrange for the inspection."
