"They were prompt and very professional. They did the whole interior and trim just cutting in- no tape was used. It looks great! There were 4-7 people at all times 6 days a week. It took almost 2 weeks to get the painting and pressure washing of deck and dock. The color it was treated with is perfect. I would certainly hire them again and encourage friends also."

"Ma and his crew were awesome! They showed up on time and finished the job when they said they would. I couldn’t be more happy with how the house and deck turned out. I would highly recommend them to anyone, thanks again for a job well done, and they also gave us the best price"

"The team did a great job with the painting, including the trim for almost every room.  However, since there were extra coats of paint required for most of the down stairs, they were tight for time on the bonus room, and the trim was not done to the same standard as the rest of the house.
That being said, when they repaired the walls in the bathrooms, you cannot tell that there was any work done - they are very, very good.  A day after they finished painting, the plumbers had to open up a wall upstairs to replace some piping, and they owner came back to repair that for us as well, including the painting.
We will be using them again to seal the new deck that the previous owners put on the house right before we bought it.  I highly recommend them.

"Materials used were above average compared to other quotes we received, impressed with Mr. Fineman's knowledge, answered all my questions and addressed any concerns. Very dedicated to customer service. Quote was a bit higher than others but well worth it. All products used were above the standard and followed manufacturer recommendations. Prep work preparing and protecting decking before installing metal roof was far more detailed and used products other companies never metioned."

"Olivia was fantastic! Communicated well and showed up on time. We reviewed the job and I provided the materials and JR Installations, LLC performed the install. The removed carpeting and hauled it away. They laid the floor - great job. The steps, they matched the flooring and stained the new stair treads. I couldn't be happier and I've been a DIY guy my entire life. The job was simply a stunning transformation from carpeting to hardwood."

"Very good work on the house. Missed a few area's on the stained/sealed fence. But touched them up as soon as I brought them to their attention.
Always on time and completed the work on time. Very Professional in their dealings with us.
Easily reached by email or phone. Returned email within a few hours or the same day.
We would use them again and would highly recommend to others.
They were not the cheapest, but we feel we got a good quality job for the money.

We removed all old wood siding, then we sheathed with plywood and put on new wood siding, primed and painted two sides of the house then we scraped, sanded ,primed , caulked and painted the rest of the house. We also put new tongue & groove pine boards on ceiling under the porch then stained it.

Deck Staining questions, answered by experts

You can apply stain over peeling stain, but it’s not a good idea. Your old stain will get in the way of your new stain bonding to the wood, so you’re likely going to see the same issue again shortly after application. Your best option is to sand off the old stain and clean the surface thoroughly before applying new stain.

There are more pros than cons when staining a deck. Deck stain is more affordable than paint, it protects the wood and allows the natural textures to shine through, and it can revive the appearance of your home. However, deck stain also requires prep work (sometimes days or more), carries more upkeep than a painted deck, and can fade over time if not cared for.

Stain is meant to be absorbed by the porous wood, allowing some of the natural grain to show through. With that in mind, you don’t want to add more stain than the wood can absorb, as you risk covering up its natural markings. Generally, two coats is the maximum you should do, although very dense hardwoods may only be able to take a single coat.

Always wait until the morning dew has dried before you stain your deck. The stain needs a fully dry surface to sink into.

It is not always necessary to remove old stain before restaining a deck. If the previous stain is in good condition and is compatible with the new stain, you may be able to apply a new coat after thorough cleaning. However, if the old stain is in bad condition, flaking, or peeling, it is best to remove it completely to ensure an even surface and proper adhesion for the new coat. Staining over a damaged layer can lead to an uneven finish and poor penetration. For best results, test a small area first and consult the stain manufacturer's guidelines.
